Marlon Maxey
Marlon Lee Maxey (born February 19, 1969) is a former American professional basketball player. During his playing career, at a height of 6'8 " (2.05 m) tall, and a weight of 250 lbs. (113 kg), Maxey, who was born in Chicago, Illinois, played at the power forward (basketball), power forward and center (basketball), center positions. Maxey was selected with the 28th overall draft pick, by the Minnesota Timberwolves, in the 1992 NBA draft. Western Athletic Conference
The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) is an NCAA Division I conference. The WAC covers a broad expanse of the western United States with member institutions located in Arizona, California, New Mexico, Utah, Washington (state), Washington, and Texas. Due to most of the conference's College football, football-playing members leaving the WAC for other affiliations, the conference discontinued football as a sponsored sport after the 2012–13 season and left the NCAA's NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision, Football Bowl Subdivision (formerly known as Division I-A). Hellenic Basket League
The Greek Basket League (GBL), often also referred to as the Greek A1 Basketball League, or Greek Basketball Championship (originally called Panhellenic Basketball Championship), and also known as the Stoiximan Basket League for sponsorship reasons, is the first tier level professional basketball league in Greece. The 1992 NBA draft took place on June 24, 1992, at Memorial Coliseum in Portland, Oregon. The draft is considered to be one of the deepest in NBA history. The top three picks (Shaquille O'Neal, Alonzo Mourning, Christian Laettner) were considered can't-miss prospects.
