Marko Tolja
Marko Tolja (born 3 July 1984) is a Croatian singer. Music career 1984–2005: Early life and education Marko Tolja was born on 3 July 1984 in Rijeka to Koraljka and Darko Tolja. Tolja gained his first musical experiences with his uncle Davor, who sang in the Croatian electropop group Denis & Denis. In 1995, in a duet with Lena Stojiljković, he performed at the children's festival ''Mikić'' (a children's version of the festival ''Melodije Istre i Kvarnera'') and won the first place with the composition "Ča smo mi". During his primary school years, he also attended the Ivan Matetić Ronjgov Music School in Rijeka. During those years he performs at numerous matinees and piano recitals. Croatia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with the song "Lijepa Tena" written by Tonči Huljić and Vjekoslava Huljić. The song was performed by Igor Cukrov featuring Andrea. The Croatian broadcaster Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT) organised the national final ''Dora 2009'' to select the Croatian entry for the 2009 contest in Moscow, Russia. A total of twenty-four entries competed in the national final which consisted of two shows: a semi-final and a final. In the semi-final on 27 February 2009, six entries qualified to compete in the final on 28 February 2009 alongside ten pre-qualified songs. Tonči Huljić
Tonči Huljić (; born 29 October 1961) is a Croatian musician, songwriter and music producer. He is best known as the founding member, songwriter and producer of one the most famous Croatian pop bands, Magazin. During his career spanning more than five decades, Huljić has produced numerous hit singles, both for the group and for numerous solo artists which emerged from his record label. Some of the most prominent music artists who collaborated with him include Jelena Rozga, Doris Dragović, Petar Grašo as well as Maksim Mrvica, Danijela Martinović, Minea and Jole. In total, Huljić has produced and composed more than 1370 songs. The HR Top 40 are the main Croatian domestic singles airplay chart, issued weekly by the Croatian Music Institute (Institut Hrvatske Glazbe) and the Croatian Phonographic Association (Hrvatska Diskografska Udruga) through Top lista. The charts are a record of the most played domestic songs in various genres in Croatia. HR Top 40 became the official Croatian airplay chart in December 2012.
