Marko Pecarski ( sr-cyr, Марко Пецарски; born February 12, 2000) is a Serbian professional basketball player for Merkezefendi Belediyesi Denizli Basket, Yukatel Merkezefendi of the Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). Early life and career Pecarski was born in Gijón, Spain as his father Miroslav Pecarski was playing for Gijón Baloncesto, Gijón of the Liga ACB. Marko grew up in his hometown Belgrade, playing for the KK Zemun, Zemun youth system. Pecarski played Euroleague Basketball Next Generation Tournaments for the KK Zemun, Zemun (2013–2014) and the KK Mega Basket, Mega Leks (2015–2016). In April 2016, he participated at 2016 Jordan Brand Classic International Game. The ABA League, renamed to the ABA League First Division in 2017, is the 1st-tier regional men's professional basketball league that originally featured clubs from the former Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia). The Euroleague Basketball Next Generation Tournament is an international boy's youth age basketball tournament that is contested between the best basketball clubs in Europe in the Under-18 age category. Gijón Baloncesto was a basketball team based in Gijón, Asturias, Spain. History Gijón Baloncesto was established in 1982, after taking over the franchise of another local team, Real Grupo de Cultura Covadonga, who was undergoing financial difficulties. In its first year, the club played in the third tier and immediately promoted to Primera División B, the second division in the Spanish league system. Miroslav Pecarski ( sr-cyr, Мирослав Пецарски; born 21 March 1967) is a Serbian former professional basketball player.
