Munze Konza ( sr-cyrl, Кошаркашки клуб Земун), commonly referred to as KK Zemun, is a men's professional basketball club based in Belgrade, Serbia. They are currently competing in the Central Division of the First Regional Basketball League (3rd-tier). Since 2015, the club has been organizing the ''Dado Trophy of Zemun'' in honor of their former player and coach Vladimir "Dado" Arnautović. First Regional Basketball League (Serbia)
First Men's Regional League ( sr-cyrl, Прва мушка регионална лига, Prva muška regionalna liga), previously First Serbian League, is the men's regional basketball league in Serbia. It is the 3rd-tier of the basketball league system in Serbia. Founded in 2006, it is run by the Basketball Federation of Serbia (KSS). Rules Competition format The league, operated by the Basketball Federation of Serbia and regional basketball associations, consists of four divisions, North, Central, East and West, which have 14 teams each. The first team in every division will be promoted to the Second Basketball League of Serbia. The teams positioned 13th and 14th in the First Regional League will be relegated to a lower-tier league - the Second Regional League. Serbian Basketball League System
The Serbian basketball league system, or Serbian basketball league pyramid is a series of interconnected competitions for professional basketball clubs in Serbia. The system has a hierarchical format with a promotion and demotion system between competitions at different levels. Men There are currently five different competitions on the pyramid - the 1st tier Basketball League of Serbia, the 2nd tier Second Basketball League of Serbia, the 3rd tier First Regional League, the 4th tier Second Regional League, which comprises the lower level regional divisions. KK Borac Zemun
Košarkaški klub Borac Zemun ( sr-cyrl, Кошаркашки клуб Борац Земун, ), commonly referred to as KK Borac Zemun, is a men's basketball club based in Zemun, near Belgrade, Serbia. They are currently competing in the Second Basketball League of Serbia. History The club was found in April 2009 as a farm team of Mladost Zemun under the name ZKK Mladost 2009 (Zemunski košarkaški klub Mladost 2009). In 2014, the club was disaffiliated from Mladost and changed its name to KK Borac Zemun. The club used to play in the 3rd-tier First Regional League of Serbia, Center Division. In September 2020, they got a wild card and promotion to the Second Basketball League of Serbia for the 2020–21 season following withdrawal of Zemun. Mario Nakić
Mario Nakić (; born June 14, 2001) is a Serbian-Croatian professional basketball player for KK Igokea, Igokea of the ABA League. Early life and career Nakić was born in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia (1992–2006), Serbia, Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, FR Yugoslavia to a Croatian father and a Serbian mother. Uroš Trifunović
Uroš Trifunović ( sr-cyr, Урош Трифуновић; born 5 December 2000) is a Serbian professional basketball player for Partizan Mozzart Bet of the Serbian KLS, the Adriatic League and the EuroLeague. Early career Trifunović started to play basketball in his hometown Belgrade, for the Zemun youth selections. In Summer 2015, he joined the Mega Bemax. Vuk Vulikić ( sr-cyr, Вук Вуликић; born 7 March 1999) is a Serbian basketball player for the Mladost Zemun of the Serbian Basketball League. Novica Veličković ( sr-cyr, Новица Величковић; born 5 October 1986) is a Serbian former professional basketball player who is the team manager for Mega Basket of the Basketball League of Serbia and the ABA League. He also represented the senior Serbian national basketball team internationally. Professional career Veličković started playing basketball for KK Drvomarket in 1996. Milan Dozet ( sr-cyr, Милан Дозет; born 12 May 1979) is a Serbian professional basketball executive and former player. He is currently serving as the sporting director for Crvena zvezda. Standing at , he played at the small forward position. Nenad Stefanović ( sr-cyr, Ненад Стефановић; born 31 August 1985) is a Serbian professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach for FMP of the ABA League, Basketball League of Serbia and Basketball Champions League. Playing career A point guard, Stefanović spent his playing career in Serbia, Poland, Montenegro, and Sweden. Pinki Cultural and Sports Center ( sr-Cyrl, Културно спортски центар Пинки), commonly known as Pinki Hall ( sr-Cyrl, Хала Пинки), is an indoor multi-sports venue located in Belgrade's municipality of Zemun, Serbia. The venue has an indoor hall and an indoor swimming pool. The hall has a seating capacity of 2,300 for sports events and around 5,000 for concerts. Opened on 21 October 1974, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Zemun being liberated from the Nazis and their puppet state Independent State of Croatia, the hall has hosted various basketball, handball, and volleyball teams.
