Marko Maletic (soccer, Born 1999)
Marko Luka Maletic ( hr, Maletić; born June 23, 1999) is a Canadian soccer player who currently plays for BVB IA Waterloo in League1 Ontario. Early life Maletic began playing soccer at age six with Kitchener SC. Afterwards he played for Waterloo Minor SC, Mississauga Falcons, and ProStars FC, while also playing with the Ontario provincial team. In 2015, he moved to Croatia and joined the Dinamo Zagreb Academy. In 2016, he returned to Canada and joined the Toronto FC Academy. In 2017, he returned to Croatia and joined the youth system of HNK Hajduk Split. Club career In 2016, he played for Toronto FC III in both League1 Ontario and the Premier Development League. In July 2016, Maletic was promoted to Toronto FC II and made his professional debut on July 10 against the Harrisburg City Islanders. He did not return to the side in 2017. HFX Wanderers Football Club, commonly known as HFX Wanderers, and spoken as Halifax Wanderers, is a Canadian professional Association football, soccer club in Halifax, Nova Scotia. 2022 Canadian Championship
The 2022 Canadian Championship was the fifteenth edition of Canada's national soccer cup tournament, awarding the Voyageurs Cup. It took place from May 10 to July 26, 2022. The winners of the tournament, Vancouver Whitecaps FC, were awarded the Voyageurs Cup and earned a berth in the 2023 CONCACAF Champions League. Format The competition followed a similar format to the 2021 edition with ten teams starting in the preliminary round and three teams receiving byes to the quarter-finals. Penn FC (formerly the Harrisburg City Islanders) was an American professional soccer team based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, United States. Founded in 2003, the team most recently played in the USL Pro, the second tier of the United States soccer league system.
