Marko Kraljević (footballer)
Marko Kraljević (born 1 November 1965) is a former German- Croat footballer and current coach of Hougang United FC. Club career Marko Kraljević played in the Malaysian Premier League for Kelantan. and Hong Kong Rangers in 1995. He won the Hong Kong Senior Shield and Hong Kong FA Cup in the successful season of 1994–95. Next, he travelled to Singapore to play in the S.League during its early years for Balestier Central, and later with Tampines Rovers and Jurong FC as a striker. Coaching career After he retired, Kraljević started off his coaching career with the Balestier Khalsa Centre of Excellence under-16 team, working his way up to become the head coach of the Prime League team for the Tigers. He then moved to become the Prime League coach of Woodlands Wellington in 2012. Kraljević returned to Balestier as head coach for their 2014 S.League season. Woodlands Wellington Football Club is an inactive professional association football, football club which played in the S.League, the top division of football in Singapore. They are based in Woodlands, Singapore, Woodlands at the 4,300 seater Woodlands Stadium, where they have played since their establishment. Hong Kong Senior Shield
The Hong Kong Senior Challenge Shield (), known commonly as the Senior Shield, is the football knockout inter-club competition held in Hong Kong and the fourth oldest football tournament in Asia. Traditionally, only the teams in the Hong Kong Premier League are entered into the competition. However, on occasion teams in lower divisions, usually the champions of the Junior Shield, are invited in order to increase the number of participating teams. Dhivehi Premier League is a Maldivian men's professional football league. At the top of the Maldives football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. AFC Cup
The AFC Cup is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Under its current rules, the competition is played primarily between clubs from nations that did not receive direct qualifying slots in the top-tier AFC Champions League, based on the AFC Club Competitions Ranking. Al-Kuwait SC and Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya are the most successful clubs in the competition's history, having won three titles each. Singapore Cup
The Singapore Cup is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic Singaporean football. Established in 1998, it is the foremost football cup competition in the country. It is open to clubs in the Singapore Premier League. Since 2005, foreign teams from other countries in Southeast Asia are occasionally invited to compete in the Singapore Cup. Chonburi Province FC from Thailand was the first foreign club reaching the final in 2006 (they lost 3–2 in the final to local club Tampines Rovers). In 2009, Bangkok Glass became the second foreign team to reach the final, losing against local club Geylang United, but they beat Tampines Rovers in 2010 to become the first foreign winners of the Singapore Cup. Prime League
The Prime League was the reserve and youth team soccer league of Singapore's S.League. Teams involved in the league are primarily made up of youth players from the S.League clubs. The Prime League was founded in 1997. S.League clubs are required to participate, and clubs who do not play at S.League level are also eligible to enter. In 2018, the Prime League was abolished, with the National Football League (NFL) installed as the second-tier competition.
