Mark Wilson (Artist) (born May 13, 1943 in Cottage Grove, Oregon) is an American digital artist, a painter, and printmaker. He received a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship in 1982, Prix Ars Electronica (Distinction, Computer Graphics) in 1992, and 3 Connecticut Commission on the Arts grants. He has taught, lectured and been visiting artist at University of California at Santa Barbara, Yale, Carnegie-Mellon, and the School of Visual Arts. Mark Wilson (Scottish Footballer)
Mark Wilson (born 5 June 1984) is a Scottish football player and coach. Wilson, who played as a right back, started his career at Dundee United. He broke into their first team in the 2002–03 season, and made over 100 league appearances for United before He moved to Celtic in January 2006 for a fee of £500,000. Wilson suffered significant injury problems while with Celtic, which limited his appearances, and he was released at the end of his contract in 2012. He then signed for English Championship club Bristol City before rejoining his first club on a short-term contract in 2013. He left Dundee United in January 2015, signing for Dumbarton the following month. Wilson represented Scotland at all youth levels and captained the under-21 team. Mark Lowell Wilson (born 1947) is an American philosopher and Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at University of Pittsburgh. Wilson has authored several books on the philosophy of mathematics. Education and early life Wilson was raised in Oregon, and enrolled at Reed College between 1965 and 1967, before earning his bachelor's degree in 1969 from the University of Washington. He completed a doctorate at Harvard University in 1976, where his thesis was supervised by Hilary Putnam. Sir Mark Wilson (22 October 1896 – 10 April 1956) was an Irish-born British colonial administrator and judge. He was Chief Justice of the Gold Coast from 1948 until his death in 1956. Wilson was born in Castlecomer, Kilkenny. He was educated at Kilkenny College, Mountjoy School, and Trinity College, Dublin (BA, LLB). His university education was interrupted by service with the Royal Air Force from 1918 to 1919. He was Auditor of the College Historical Society and captained Wanderers F.C. He was called to the Irish Bar in 1924, before joining the Colonial Administrative Service in Tanganyika as a Cadet the same year. In 1926 he was transferred to Uganda as a District Magistrate, being promoted to Senior Magistrate in 1935. In 1936 he returned to Tanganyika as a puisne judge. Mark Wilson (25 November 1890 — 3 August 1982) was an English-born Scottish first-class cricketer. Wilson was born in November 1890 in Whitburn, County Durham. He was a club cricketer for Clackmannan County/ His club career was somewhat eventful, with him making an allegation to the police that he had been assaulted by a spectator during a match in 1924. He made a single appearance in first-class cricket for Scotland against Lancashire at Old Trafford on Scotland's 1925 tour of England. Batting twice in the match, he was dismissed without scoring by Dick Tyldesley, while in their second innings he was dismissed for 4 runs by Len Hopwood. With his left-arm fast-medium bowling, he bowled eight wicketless overs. In 1996, he received the Ben Hogan Award, given by Friends of Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America, to the best college golf player in the United States.
