Mark Wagoner
Mark D. Wagoner, Jr. (born September 18, 1971) is an American politician and former Republican member of the Ohio Senate and Ohio House of Representatives. Career Wagoner is a lifetime resident of Ottawa Hills and graduated from Ottawa Hills High School. Wagoner obtained degrees from both Georgetown University and the Ohio State University before practicing law in the Toledo area. He is a partner as Shumaker, Loop and Kendrick L.L.P. With incumbent Lynn Olman term limited and unable to run for a fifth term, Wagoner entered the race for the 46th District of the Ohio House of Representatives in 2004. He was unopposed in the primary election, and faced Nancy Patrick Greeley in the fall. He was reelected to his seat in 2006. Ohio's 2nd Senatorial District
Ohio's 2nd senatorial district has historically represented areas located in northwestern Ohio. It now stretches along the Great Lakes. A multi-county district, it currently comprises the counties of Erie County, Ohio, Erie, Ottawa County, Ohio, Ottawa and Wood County, Ohio, Wood, as well as, portions of the counties of Fulton County, Ohio, Fulton and Lucas County, Ohio, Lucas. Ted Strickland
Theodore Strickland (born August 4, 1941) is an American politician who was the 68th governor of Ohio, serving from 2007 to 2011. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served in the United States House of Representatives, representing (1993–1995, 1997–2007). In the 2006 gubernatorial election, Strickland was elected to succeed term-limited Republican incumbent Bob Taft, receiving 60% of the vote and defeating Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell. He was narrowly defeated for re-election in the 2010 gubernatorial election by former U.S. Representative John Kasich. In April 2014, Strickland became president of the Center for American Progress Action Fund, a progressive public policy research and advocacy organization.
