Mark Sherry
Mark Sherry (born 20 March 1975), is a Scottish DJ and record producer productions & remixes on Outburst Records/Techburst Records, Reset (Spinnin), Armada, Mental Asylum, High Contrast, Lange & Detox. Early career Operation Blade Mark Sherry formed Public Domain in 1999 and they had their first big hit in December 2000 with 'Operation Blade'. The track was supported by Judge Jules for 12 weeks consecutively, which led to it going straight in at No. 5 in the UK Top 40. Mark received the Chart Newcomers Award, awarded to celebrate the writer's first entry into the UK Top 20, presented to him by the British Academy of Composers & Songwriters. The band went on to perform on Top of the Pops and the Pepsi Chart Show in the UK, as well as their German editions. The single went on to enter the top 5 in Germany and Australia and the top 10 in Italy and across Europe. Energy (formerly known as Trance Energy) was a Dutch trance event featuring trance music DJs from around the world. It was organized by ID&T and was held since 1999 in various venues in the Netherlands. History The event was founded in 1999. Traditionally, there was a "small" edition and a big edition each year. In 2002, the small edition failed to sell out its 20,000-person ticket capacity (only 15,000 tickets were sold) and thereafter, Trance Energy was only held once annually, at the Jaarbeurs convention center in Utrecht, where it has been sold out each year up to 2009. ID&T is a Dutch entertainment and medium enterprise that was founded in the early 1990s. Their event Mysteryland is named the oldest electronic festival in the Netherlands, with later events like Trance Energy and Sensation. It operates many of the largest electronic dance music events in the world. They were also involved in the editions of Tomorrowland up until 2013. Tech-trance
Tech trance, is a subgenre within electronic music that draws upon the techno and trance genres as the name suggests. History Tech trance was pioneered by Oliver Lieb among others in the late 1990s. Other early examples of tech-trance producers are Humate, Chris Cowie and Marmion. Tech trance evolved in a new direction during the early 2000s, some DJs pioneering this in San Francisco were Keith Edwards, Skyscraper, Owen Vallis and DJ Amber. Mike Foyle (born 3 October 1985) is a British producer, composer and DJ of progressive electronic dance music. Background Mike Foyle was born in Southampton, England in October 1985. His father is a session musician and band member playing cello, piano, bass guitar and acoustic guitar. At the age of eight, Foyle began learning to play the violin. A remix (or reorchestration) is a piece of media which has been altered or contorted from its original state by adding, removing, or changing pieces of the item. A song, piece of artwork, book, video, poem, or photograph can all be remixes. The only characteristic of a remix is that it appropriates and changes other materials to create something new. Trance is a genre of electronic dance music that emerged from the British new-age music scene and the early 1990s German techno and hardcore scenes. Privilege Ibiza, originally known as Ku Club (1979–95), is the "world's largest nightclub"according to the Guinness Book of Records, also defined as a superclub with a capacity of 10,000 people and encompassing 6,500 m² (69,940 ft²). The Natural History Museum in London is a museum that exhibits a vast range of specimens from various segments of natural history.
