Mark Hildreth (actor)
Mark Hildreth (born 24 January 1978) is a Canadian actor appearing in movie and television roles. A graduate of The National Theatre School of Canada, Mark Hildreth's theater credits include ''Hamlet (The Shakespeare Project)'', Bertram in ''All's Well that Ends Well (Bard on the Beach)'', Richard of Gloucester in ''Richard III (NTSC)'' and ''Cale Blackwell in Fire (Teatre Lac Brome)''. He also starred as Pastor Tom Hale in the ABC drama ''Resurrection''. ''Love Is Never Silent'' is a 1985 Hallmark Hall of Fame television film aired on NBC December 9, 1985 and stars Mare Winningham and Cloris Leachman. It is based on the novel ''In This Sign'' by Joanne Greenberg. The film won two Emmy awards for direction and for best drama special. ''Candida'', a comedy by playwright George Bernard Shaw, was written in 1894 and first published in 1898, as part of his '' Plays Pleasant''. The central characters are clergyman James Morell, his wife Candida and a youthful poet, Eugene Marchbanks, who tries to win Candida's affections. The play questions Victorian notions of love and marriage, asking what a woman really desires from her husband. The cleric is a Christian Socialist, allowing Shaw—himself a Fabian Socialist—to weave political issues, current at the time, into the story. ''SSX Blur'' is a snowboarding and skiing video game, published by Electronic Arts under the EA Sports BIG label and developed by EA Montreal for the Wii.
