Mark C. MacKinnon
Mark C. MacKinnon is a Canadian politician, entrepreneur, and designer of roleplaying games. MacKinnon is the founder of Guardians of Order (GoO), and has produced work in the ''anime'' genre. His initial release, ''Big Eyes, Small Mouth'', led the company to aggressively license anime properties. With the help of David L. Pulver and others, MacKinnon gradually turned the Tri-Stat System into a universal system, including martial arts, superhero, cyberpunk and urban fantasy games. MacKinnon shut down GoO on August 1, 2006, due to mounting financial difficulties, leaving many writers and artists unpaid. Career Mark C. MacKinnon wanted to create a general anime role-playing game system, to have the kind of game that he would like to run, so he formed Guardians of Order to publish his anime role-playing game. The Daily Gleaner
''The Daily Gleaner'' is a morning daily newspaper serving the city of Fredericton, New Brunswick, and the upper Saint John River Valley. The paper is published Monday through Saturday and began operating in 1880. In April 2006, the paper switched from afternoon to morning publication. The offices of the ''Daily Gleaner'' are located on Alison Boulevard on the city's south side. The ''Gleaner'', as it is called locally, is part of Brunswick News Inc. K.C. Irving bought it in 1968 from Michael Wardell, who had owned it since 1950. The paper has its roots in the earlier paper ''The Gleaner and Northumberland Schediasma'', started in 1829. Guelph City Council is the governing body for the city of Guelph, Ontario. The council consists of the Mayor of Guelph and 12 ward councillors. Each ward elects 2 members to represent them. ''Sailor Moon Crystal'', known in Japan as , is a 2014 original net animation adaptation of the ''shōjo'' manga series ''Sailor Moon'' written and illustrated by Naoko Takeuchi, produced in commemoration of the original series' 20th anniversary. Produced by Toei Animation and directed by Munehisa Sakai (Seasons 1 and 2) and Chiaki Kon (Season 3), the series was streamed worldwide on Niconico from July 5, 2014, to July 18, 2015. Season 1 and 2's episodes were released twice a month. Lucien Moussa Shukri Soulban is a Saudi Arabian game designer and writer who has worked primarily on role-playing games. Personal life Lucien Soulban was born in Saudi Arabia, where he lived for 12 years before attending school in Texas. He later moved to Montreal. Career Lucien Soulban wrote game material for White Wolf, Dream Pod 9, and other companies before being hired by Guardians of Order in 2000, and began work on '' Heaven & Earth'' (2001). Steve Kenson (born June 16, 1969) is a writer and designer of role-playing games (RPGs) and related fiction. Career Steve Kenson began working as an author and game designer in 1995. Kenson co-wrote the super-hero role-playing game ''Silver Age Sentinels'', which was published by Guardians of Order in 2002. While working on ''Silver Age Sentinels'', Kenson had pitched a setting called Freedom City for the game, but Guardians of Order turned it down. When Chris Pramas of Green Ronin Publishing asked Kenson if he would like to design a new d20-based superhero RPG, Kenson developed ''Mutants & Masterminds'' in 2002 and his ''Freedom City'' setting was published in 2003. ''Silver Age Sentinels'' is a superhero role-playing game (RPG) published in 2002 by Guardians of Order, creators of ''Big Eyes, Small Mouth'', an anime-themed RPG.
