Mark Banker
Mark John Banker (born January 15, 1956) is an American football coach. Banker is currently the safeties coach at Washington State University. He was previously the assistant head coach and inside linebackers coach at the University of Hawaii. Previously, he served the defensive coordinator of the Nebraska Cornhuskers, the Oregon State Beavers and the San Diego Chargers. Coaching career Banker has coached for the USC Trojans and in the National Football League for the San Diego Chargers. He followed Mike Riley from Oregon State to Nebraska when Riley was hired by the Cornhuskers in 2014. On January 11, 2017, after Riley and Banker coached Nebraska to two poor seasons, Banker was relieved of his duties as defensive coordinator. He was replaced by Bob Diaco. On January 5, 2018, it was announced that Banker was hired to be the assistant head coach and inside linebackers coach under Nick Rolovich at the University of Hawaii. Washington State Cougars Football
The Washington State Cougars football program is the intercollegiate American football team for Washington State University, located in Pullman, Washington. The team competes at the NCAA Division I level in the FBS and is a member of the Pac-12 Conference (Pac-12). Known as the Cougars, the first football team was fielded in 1894. Nick Rolovich
Nicholas Robert Rolovich ( ; born February 16, 1979) is an American football coach and former player, who was most recently the head football coach at Washington State University (WSU). Rolovich majored in economics at the University of Hawaii, and received a master's degree at New Mexico Highlands University. He was a quarterback with the Las Vegas Gladiators in the Arena Football League. In October of 2021, after being denied a religious exemption to Washington's requirement for state employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19, Rolovich was terminated by WSU. Rolovich alleges that athletic director Patrick Chun asked him to receive the vaccine on the stadium 50 yard line in front of the entire football team. Bob Diaco
Robert Albert Diaco (born February 19, 1973) is an American football coach and a former linebacker who is the defensive line coach for the New Jersey Generals of the United States Football League (USFL). He played college football at the University of Iowa for coach Hayden Fry from 1992 to 1995. He then served as the head coach of the UConn Huskies (2014–2016). Diaco was born in Cedar Grove, New Jersey. He attended Cedar Grove High School. After graduation from high school in Cedar Grove in 1992, Diaco enrolled at the University of Iowa and played linebacker for the Hawkeyes, starting for two seasons.
