Bob Diaco
Robert Albert Diaco (born February 19, 1973) is an American football coach and a former linebacker who is the defensive line coach for the New Jersey Generals of the United States Football League (USFL). He played college football at the University of Iowa for coach Hayden Fry from 1992 to 1995. He then served as the head coach of the UConn Huskies (2014–2016). Diaco was born in Cedar Grove, New Jersey. He attended Cedar Grove High School. After graduation from high school in Cedar Grove in 1992, Diaco enrolled at the University of Iowa and played linebacker for the Hawkeyes, starting for two seasons. As a senior in 1995, he led Iowa to the 1995 Sun Bowl and was a two-time All-Big Ten Conference selection. Cedar Grove is a township in north central Essex County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 12,411, reflecting an increase of 111 (+0.9%) from the 12,300 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 247 (+2.0%) from the 12,053 counted in the 1990 Census. Scott Slutzker
Scott Lawrence Slutzker (born December 20, 1972) is a former American football tight end in the National Football League. He was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the third round (82nd pick) of the 1996 NFL Draft. He played his college football at the University of Iowa from 1991 to 1995. Michael Richard Devlin (born November 16, 1969) is a former professional American football player and coach who is the assistant offensive line coach for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). High school years Devlin attended Cherokee High School in the Marlton section of Evesham Township, New Jersey and was a letterman in football. Devlin played for the second-best high school football team in New Jersey, losing ''The Star-Ledger'' Trophy to the number one team and USA Today top five ranked Union High School Farmers. The 1995 Sun Bowl was a college football bowl game played on December 29, 1995 at the Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas. The game featured the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Washington Huskies. Iowa scored first, after running back Sedrick Shaw rushed for a 58-yard touchdown, and a 7–0 Iowa lead. Kicker Brion Hurley added a 49-yard field goal, to make it 10–0 after one quarter of play. In the second quarter, Iowa got a safety, increasing its lead to 12–0. Zach Bromert added a pair of 33 and 34-yard field goals, to push the lead to 18–0. Hayden Fry
John Hayden Fry (February 28, 1929 – December 17, 2019) was an American college football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at Southern Methodist University (SMU) from 1962 to 1972, North Texas State University—now known as the University of North Texas—from 1973 to 1978, and the University of Iowa from 1979 to 1998, compiling a career coaching record of 232–178–10. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen.
