Mariya Saakyan
Maria Sergeevna Saakyan (russian: Мария Сергеевна Саакян, hy, Մարիա Սերգեյի Սահակյան, 24 July 1980 – 28 January 2018) was a Russian film director, screenwriter, animator and editor. She is known for her work in movies like Farewell, Mayak, Honey Money among others. Biography Saakyan was born in 1980 in Yerevan. She is the granddaughter of the Armenian poet Seda Vermisheva. In 1993, she moved to Moscow with her family. In 1996, she entered the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography, faculty of directing film and television, the workshop of Vladimir Kobrin. Saakyan filmed the short film "Farewell", a thesis at the end of VGIK in 2003. The film is shown in the program at the International Film Festival in Oberhausen, the International Film Festival "Premier Plans Angers" in France, the official program of the Rotterdam Film Festival in the Netherlands, at the Telluride Film Festival and others. Fano
Fano is a town and ''comune'' of the province of Pesaro and Urbino in the Marche region of Italy. It is a beach resort southeast of Pesaro, located where the ''Via Flaminia'' reaches the Adriatic Sea. It is the third city in the region by population after Ancona and Pesaro. History An ancient town of Marche, it was known as Fanum Fortunae after a temple of Fortuna located there. Its first mention in history dates from 49 BC, when Julius Caesar held it, along with Pisaurum and Ancona. Caesar Augustus established a '' colonia'', and built a wall, some parts of which remain. In 2 AD Augustus also built an arch (which is still standing) at the entrance to the town. Telluride Film Festival
The Telluride Film Festival (TFF) is a film festival held annually in Telluride, Colorado during Labor Day weekend (the first Monday in September). The 49th edition took place on September 2 -6, 2022. History First held on 30 August 1974, the festival, held in the Sheridan Opera House, was started by the Telluride Council for the Arts and Humanities, Bill and Stella Pence, Tom Luddy, and James Card of Eastman-Kodak Film Preserve and Scott Brown.
