Mariya Dimitrova (born 7 August 1976) is a Bulgarian triple jumper. She finished seventh at the 2007 European Indoor Championships. She also competed at the World Championships in 2003 and 2007 and the Olympic Games in 2000 and 2004 without reaching the finals. María Dimitrova
María Dimitrova (born October 11, 1985) is a Bulgarian-Dominican martial artist who practices karate. Early life She was born in Bulgaria to father Valeri Dimitrov and mother Maya Ivanova, both citizens of that same country. At the age of 6, her family made the trip to the Dominican Republic and settled for good in Sosua, Puerto Plata. A friend of the family had recommended the country to them. María started to practice Karate when she was four years old, as her father was a Karateka as well. The "Karate Princess" (as she's called much due to her looks and ability in Martial Art) has been ranked among the best in the world in Female Kata since 2005, when she won the gold medal at the ''XVI Pan-American Junior Karate Championship'' in Montevideo, Uruguay. The triple jump, sometimes referred to as the hop, step and jump or the hop, skip and jump, is a track and field event, similar to the long jump. Tereza Moncheva Marinova ( bg, Тереза Мончева Маринова; born 5 September 1977 in Pleven) is a Bulgarian athlete who specialised in the triple jump. She was the gold medallist in that event at the 2000 Summer Olympics and a bronze medallist at the 2001 World Championships in Athletics and 1998 European Athletics Championships. She won triple jump titles at the 2001 IAAF World Indoor Championships and 2002 European Athletics Indoor Championships. She made her international debut in 1994 and retired in 2008.
