Marit Andreassen
Marit Adeleide Andreassen (born 29 March 1966 in Svolvær, Nordland) is a Norwegian actress, born in Svolvær. She graduated from the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre in 1993, and has since worked both at Oslo Nye Teater and at Nationaltheatret (the National Theatre), where she has acted in such plays as Henrik Ibsen's ''Hedda Gabler'' and ''Peer Gynt''. Andreassen is also known from radio, TV and movies. On radio she takes part in the weekly satire show "''Hallo i uken''". She had a role in the TV-comedy "''Nr. 13''" (1998), and in the movies ''Jonny Vang'' (2003) and ''37 og et halvt'' (2005). Svolvær () is the administrative centre of Vågan Municipality in Nordland County, Norway. It is located on the island of Austvågøya in the Lofoten archipelago, along the Vestfjorden. The town has a population (2018) of 4,720 which gives the town a population density of . ''Andreaskorset'' (literally Andrew's Cross, released in English as ''The Crossing'') is a Norwegian erotic thriller film that premiered in 2004. The film received lukewarm reviews, and it is perhaps best remembered as one of 2004's least viewed films. Just over 3,000 people watched the film, and by the end of the year all the magazines and newspapers in Norway named the film "the biggest flop of the year." This is also connected with the fact that well-known names such as Martin Asphaug and Eirik Ildahl were associated with the project. The film is about Andreas (played by Trond Fausa Aurvaag), a man in his early 30s that is paralyzed from the waist down after a car accident.
