Jonny Vang
''Jonny Vang'' is a Norwegian film from 2003. It was directed by Jens Lien after a script by Ståle Stein Berg. The music was composed by the band Calexico. The plot is a drama-comedy from the Norwegian countryside, where the protagonist Jonny Vang is frustrated in his efforts to prosper as a breeder of earthworms. The film was reasonably well received by critics, and was awarded an Amanda Award for "Best Actor" in 2003. Plot Jonny Vang (Aksel Hennie) lives on the Norwegian countryside, where he is trying to establish a business breeding earthworms. His ambitions to expand are thwarted by the bank manager (Trond Brænne), who will not lend him the necessary money. Jens Lien (born 14 September 1967) is a Norwegian film film director, director. He graduated from the London International Film School in 1993. His graduation project was the short film ''Montana'', that was featured at the short film festival in Grimstad that year. in 1995 he again participated in this festival, with the entry ''Mitt elektriske kjøkken'' (My Electrical Kitchen). Lien went on to make the short films (Shut the Door, 2000) and ''Naturlige Briller'' (Natural Glasses, 2001).See Lien's IMDb page. Both of these films were based on scripts by Per Schreiner, and both were featured at the Cannes International Film Festival. In addition to this Lien has also made a number of advertisements. Fåvang
Fåvang is a village in Ringebu Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The village is located in the Gudbrandsdal valley, along the Gudbrandsdalslågen river, about north of the town of Lillehammer. ''Kitchen Stories'' ( no, Salmer fra Kjøkkenet) is a 2003 Norwegian film by Bent Hamer, director of ''Eggs'' and '' O' Horten.'' Plot Swedish efficiency researchers come to Norway to study Norwegian men, in an effort to help optimize their use of their kitchens. Folke Nilsson (Tomas Norström) is assigned to study the habits of Isak Bjørvik (Joachim Calmeyer). By the rules of the research institute, Folke has to sit on an umpire's chair in Isak's kitchen and observe him from there, but never talk to him. Isak volunteered for the program with the promise of a horse, but he only receives a dala horse, a little painted wooden statue. Isak stops using his kitchen and observes Folke through a hole in the ceiling instead. Bent Hamer (born 18 December 1956) is a film director, writer and producer, born in Sandefjord, Norway in 1956. Biography Hamer studied film theory and literature at the University of Stockholm and the Stockholm Film School. In addition to his feature films, he has written and directed a number of short films and documentaries. His first film, ''Eggs'', premiered at the 1995 Cannes Film Festival where it was shown in the Directors' Fortnight section. Per Haddal (born 9 January 1942) is a Norway, Norwegian film criticism, film critic. Born in Levanger, he has an Master of Arts, M.A. in English language, English. He started working for the newspaper ''Vårt Land (Norwegian newspaper), Vårt Land'', where he remained from 1969 to 1978. He also worked freelance for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation in the period 1975 to 1987. In 1978 he became the main film critic for the newspaper ''Aftenposten'', where he has worked since.
