Mario Reali
Mario Reali (Mario Lucrezio Reali) (Foiano della Chiana, 9 October 1939 – 7 December 2017) was an Italian poet and writer and a prominent expert in natural gas and oil. He received the highest Russian decoration of the energy industry: "Meritorious Worker of Gas Industry of Russian Federation", in 1999 and in 2005 from Gazprom. Career Reali graduated in Chemistry at Moscow State University and at Università di Bologna. He spent many years in the Soviet Union as a leading officer for Italian chemical groups Montedison (1967–1981) and Eni (1981–1991). In 1991–1993 Reali was head of the Italo-Russian Chamber of Commerce; subsequently, he returned to ENI as consultant for the CIS area. In this position, Reali managed the construction of the Blue Stream pipeline of which he was one of the creators. Foiano Della Chiana
Foiano della Chiana is a small agricultural town in eastern Tuscany, in the province of Arezzo, between the cities of Sinalunga and Cortona. It is well known for its annual carnival. History Foiano's name, according to a legend, derives from the god Janus who, when he went up the Tiber River and settled in the shadow of a hill, called it ''Flos Janus''. Also, a parchment dating back to 842 CE was found in which Lothar I mentions the Roman ''Campus Fugianus''. In 1383, control of Foiano passed from Arezzo to Florence and the inhabitants built fortified walls around the town. In 1387 the city became a free commune and the first communal statute was drafted. After the siege of the Aragonese, Foiano fell back into Florentine control and the new "heart shaped" town walls were built in 1480. Kashagan Field
Kashagan Field ( kk, Қашаған кен орны, ''Qashaǵan ken orny'') is an offshore oil field in Kazakhstan's zone of the Caspian Sea. The field, discovered in 2000, is located in the northern part of the Caspian Sea close to Atyrau and is considered the world's largest discovery in the last 30 years, combined with the Tengiz Field. When discovered, it was the second largest oil field in the world. It is estimated that the Kashagan Field has recoverable reserves of about of crude oil. Harsh conditions, including sea ice during the winter, temperature variation from , extremely shallow water and high levels of hydrogen sulfide, together with mismanagement and disputes, make it one of the most challenging oil megaprojects. Karachaganak Field ( kk, Қарашығанақ мұнай-газ конденсат кен орны, ''Qarashyǵanaq munaı-gaz kondensat ken orny'') is a gas condensate field about east of Aksay (Ақсай) in northwest Kazakhstan. It was once a massive Permian and Carboniferous reef complex covering an area . At its largest point, the reservoir contains a gas column deep with a deep oil rim below it.
