Marin Barbu
Marin Barbu (born 27 September 1958) is a Romanian football coach and former footballer. During his football career, Marin Barbu played, among others, for Steaua București and FCM Brașov. He left his position as head coach of Dunărea Giurgiu on 12 January 2010. In April 2013, he was the head coach of Astra Giurgiu for only one game, being dismissed after a week. From April 2014 till August 2014 he was the head coach of Ceahlăul Piatra Neamț. FC Callatis Mangalia
Callatis Mangalia was a Romanian professional football club from Mangalia, Constanța County, founded in 1962 and dissolved in 2015. History The club was founded in 1962 under the name of ''Metalul Mangalia'' and until 1990 was financially sustained by the Mangalia Military Shipyard. Callatis promoted to the Liga II at the end of the 2010–11 season, after winning the Seria II of the Liga III. It managed to finish higher than its main rival Unirea Slobozia. It returned to the Liga II after an absence of 5 years, last playing there in the 2005–06 season. Just 4 days before the start of the 2012–13 Liga II it withdrew from the championship because of financial difficulties. The Liga 2, most often spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 Liga II, 2006–07. It is currently Sponsor (commercial), sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company with the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. Format Divisions Since its inception in 1934, Liga II had between 2 and 9 parallel divisions, with clubs divided based on geographic regions. Generally, Seria I included eastern teams while Seria II included western sides, although clubs near the center of the country are allowed to choose in which series they will compete. The first six teams from each series participate in a play-off for potential promotion to Liga I. Liga IV
Liga IV is the fourth level of the Romanian football league system. Its name was changed from Divizia D into Liga IV before the start of play for the 2006–07 season. Current format Liga IV has 42 divisions. The divisions are regionalised and are organised by every county association. Each team plays in their own county. The county associations decide how many teams play in the league and how many matches each side plays. In Romania the most frequently used system is one division with matches played home and away. A number of associations prefer 2 or even 4 parallel divisions with the teams finishing first meeting in a play-off to decide the champion. FC Steaua București was a Romanian professional football club of which two current entities are claiming the records. The original ''FC Steaua București'' team was part of the namesake CSA Steaua București sports club and belonged to the Ministry of National Defence. In 1998, the club and facilities were separated from the sports club and taken over by a group of shareholders in a post-Ceaușescu privatisation scheme, allegedly leading to one of the shareholders (Gigi Becali) acquiring full ownership five years later. However, CSA Steaua București sued the football club in 2011, claiming that this was a new entity; the two have since been in a legal conflict regarding the ownership of the Steaua brand and honours, which resulted in multiple court cases and the forced change of the name of ''FC Steaua București'' to FCSB in early 2017.
