Marijke De Goey
Marijke de Goey (Utrecht, 14 April 1947) is a Dutch visual artist. Biography De Goey was born in Utrecht, Netherlands and studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam between 1974 and 1979. Her work ranges from large monumental sculptures to sculptural paintings and small table sculptures and jewellery. She has regular exhibitions all over the world. In 1985 she received the Art Award of the City of Gouda and in 1986 she was the recipient of the Francoise van den Bosch Award, Boijmans-van Beuningen Museum, Rotterdam. Marijke Van Beukering-Huijbregts
Maria Josefina Theresia Gabriëlle "Marijke" van Beukering-Huijbregts (born 30 December 1971) is a Dutch politician, who serves as a member of the House of Representatives. She is a member of the social-liberal party Democrats 66 (D66). Before entering politics, she worked as a secretary in the Netherlands and abroad, and she later founded her own company. She became D66's sole member in the IJsselstein municipal council in 2006. When she was re-elected in 2010, Van Beukering became an alderwoman. She resigned in 2017 because of problems with the municipality's cooperation with Montfoort, but was re-appointed shortly after. She stepped down once more in November 2017, and subsequently worked as an independent advisor, mostly for organizations in the public sector. Marijke van Warmerdam (born 12 March 1959, Nieuwer-Amstel) is a Dutch artist. Biography Marijke van Warmerdam has been developing a characteristic body of work including film, photography, paintings and sculptures since the 1990’s. She is best known for her short film loops, with which she first garnered international attention at the Venice Bienniale in 1995. Shortly thereafter, her work ''Douche'' (''Shower'', 1995) was displayed for an extended period of time on one of the platforms of Schiphol Airport railway station, where thousands of travellers could see the film while waiting for their train. Marijke Hanegraaf (born 1946) is a Dutch poet. Since 1997, she has lived in Nijmegen; she was the city’s official poet in 2013 and 2014. Biography Hanegraaf was born in Tilburg, The Netherlands. She began her career as a laboratory technician for a large Dutch pharmaceutical company, Organon, and after that she worked at the predecessor of the Dutch government organisation for food and plant safety. Her career took a turn into writing when she started working for children’s magazine Taptoe. She wrote stories, informative articles and reportage for the magazine. Marijke Moser, née Van de Graaf (born 1946) is a former Dutch-born Swiss middle and long distance runner.. She has campaigned for women to enter races on the same terms as men. She was the first woman to run a marathon in under three hours. Life From the age of five to twelve, Marijke van de Graaf lived with her parents in Indonesia, where her father was physician. In 1970 she married Albrecht Moser who was a member of the same athletics club as her in Hilversum in the Netherlands, after which the couple moved to Bern. Marijke Indradebie Djwalapersad (28 December 1951) is a Surinamese politician who served as Chairperson of the National Assembly of Suriname from 1996 until 2000.
