Marie-Rose Morel
Marie Rose Louise Constant Morel (26 August 1972 – 8 February 2011) was a Flemish-Belgian politician. She became a member of the Flemish Parliament for the Vlaams Belang in 2004, after leaving the New-Flemish Alliance. In 1994, Morel was elected Miss Flanders. She was diagnosed with stage IV uterine cancer in 2008. On 8 February 2011, she died from the disease. Biography Career At the age of 15, De Kock was already a model in Belgium, France, Germany and Italy. She has been featured on the covers of the magazines '' P-Magazine'', '' Ché'', and ''HUMO''. When she was 17, she won the title of Miss Flanders and one year later she won the prestigious title of Miss Belgium 1995. Uterine cancer, also known as womb cancer, includes two types of cancer that develop from the tissues of the uterus.
