Marianela Salazar Guillén (born ), is a Panamanian model and beauty pageant contestant. She is the winner of the title Señorita Panamá-Miss Asia Pacific 1999 in the contest Señorita Panamá 1999 and first Runner-Up in the Miss Asia Pacific 2000. She also competed in the Reinado Internacional del Café 2000 finishing as first runner-up celebrate in Manizales, Colombia. The same year she competed in the Miss Mesoamerica 2000 contest finishing as second runner-up. Señorita Panamá is a national beauty pageant in Panama. As of the 2021 edition, its winners represent Panama in Miss International and Miss Supranational. The Miss Panama brand started in 1952, when the Panamanian Institute of Tourism received an invitation from Miss Universe to send a representative. In 1975, the Señorita Panamá name was used for the first time, reverting to Miss Panama in 1976. Señorita Panamá 1999, the 17th Señorita Panamá pageant and 34th celebration of the ''Miss Panamá'' contest, was held in Teatro Anayansi Centro de Convenciones Atlapa, Panama City, Panama, on September 15, 1999. After weeks of events. The winner of the pageant was Analía Núñez. The pageant was broadcast live on RPC-TVPanamá Channel 4. About 12 contestants from all over Panamá competed for the prestigious crown. Reinado Internacional Del Café
The Reinado Internacional del Café (''International Queen of Coffee'') beauty pageant, was internationally launched as the Reinado Continental del Café (''Continental Queen of Coffee'') in 1957, and the name was changed to the current one in 1972 to allow for the participation of countries from Americas, America and other continents.
