Marian Lupu
Marian Lupu (; born 20 June 1966) is a Moldovan politician who was the President of the Parliament of Moldova between 2010 and 2013. From this position he served as Acting President of the Republic from 2010 until 2012. Personal life Marian Lupu was born on 20 June 1966 in Bălţi. When Marian was six, the family moved to Chişinău. His father, Ilie Lupu (b. 1938), was a mathematics professor at the Moldova State University. His mother taught French language at the Nicolae Testemiţanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy. He had been a member of Komsomol from 1980 until 1988 and a Member of Communist Party of the Soviet Union from 1988 to 1991. Until 1983, Lupu studied at "Gheorghe Asachi" High School of Chişinău. He studied Economics at Moldova State University (until 1987) and at Plekhanov Moscow Institute of the National Economy (1987–1991) in Moscow where he obtained his PhD in Economics. Iurie Roșca (born 31 October 1961, in Telenești) is a Moldovan politician who has served as president of the Christian-Democratic People's Party (PPCD) since 1994. Biography Iurie Roșca graduated in 1984 from the journalism faculty of the State University of Moldova. He then worked as a correspondent for the newspaper '' Tinerimea Moldovei'' (''The Youth of Moldova''), a reporter for the National Television of Moldova, and an upper-level curator at the Dimitrie Cantemir Literature Museum in Chișinău. Maria Postoico (4 April 1950 – 11 September 2019) was a Communist Moldovan politician. She was elected Vice President of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova in 2005. Life Postoico was born in Horodiște in 1950. She studied to be a lawyer at the State University of Moldova in 1978. She worked as an inspector until she was elected to parliament in 1998. She was elected as a Party of Communists of the Republic of Moldova deputy to the parliament on 24 January 2000 and she remained there until she joined the Moldovan parliament in 2005. She was elected in 2009 as part of the PCRM faction until 2016 being elected three times. She was elected as a Communist Party member with a working language of French.
