Marian Churchland
Marian Churchland (born June 15, 1982) is a Canadian comic book artist and graduate of the University of British Columbia. They first came to prominence in 2009 with their debut graphic novel ''Beast'' for Image. Career Churchland began their comics career with short stories in the anthologies ''Meathaus S.O.S.'' and ''Dark Horse Presents'', with the latter featuring Conan the Barbarian. Primarily a fan of video games, they were inspired to begin working as a comic artist by the work of Japanese game designers Yoshitaka Amano and Akihiko Yoshida. Their work is also influenced by painters including Delacroix, Van Gogh, and other members of the Renaissance. Churchland broke through with a three-issue arc as an artist on Richard Starkings' long-running creator-owned series ''Elephantmen''. Richard Starkings
Richard Starkings (born 27 January 1962) is a British font designer and comic book letterer, editor and writer. He was one of the early pioneers of computer-based comic-book lettering, and is one of the most prolific creators in that industry. Career Starkings' lettering style was originally inspired by British comic strip letterers Bill Nuttall and Tom Frame. Starkings' UK career began with lettering jobs in '' 2000 ADs ''Future Shocks'' and various strips in ''Warrior''. From there he moved to Marvel UK where he lettered Zoids in ''Spider-Man Weekly'' and ''Transformers'' before becoming an editor for the company in the late 1980s. Madame Xanadu
Madame Xanadu is a comic book mysticism, mystic published by DC Comics. The character is identified with Lady of the Lake, Nimue, the magician (fantasy), sorceress from Arthurian mythology made popular by Thomas Malory, Sir Thomas Malory's ''Le Morte d'Arthur''. The character was played by Jeryl Prescott in the television series ''Swamp Thing (2019 TV series), Swamp Thing''. Timothy Truman
Timothy Truman (born February 9, 1956) is an American writer, artist and musician. He is best known for his stories and Wild West-style comic book art, and in particular, for his work on ''Grimjack'' (with John Ostrander), '' Scout'', and the reinvention of Jonah Hex, with Joe R. Lansdale. Biography Truman was born in 1956 in Gauley Bridge, West Virginia. After graduating from Gauley Bridge High School in 1974, he attended the Columbus College of Art and Design while also attending West Virginia University. ''Dark Horse Presents'' was a comic book published by American company Dark Horse Comics from 1986. Their first published series, it was their flagship title until its September 2000 cancellation. The second incarnation was published on MySpace, running from July 2007 until August 2010. A third incarnation began in April 2011, released in print form once again. Brandon Graham (comics)
Brandon Graham (born 1976 in Oregon) is an American comic book creator. Biography Born in Oregon, Graham grew up in Seattle, Washington, where he was a graffiti artist. He wrote and illustrated comic books for Antarctic Press and Radio Comix, but got his start drawing pornographic comics such as ''Pillow Fight'', ''Perverts of the Unknown'' and the initial issue of '' Multiple Warheads'' (Warheads would go on to become an ongoing, more mainstream comic published by Oni Press in 2007).
