Maria Peteani
Maria von Peteani (2 February 1888 – 28 July 1960) was an Austrian writer. She was born in Prague, then part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, but moved to Linz at the age of two. From 1920 onwards von Peteani wrote around twenty novels, the best known of them being ''The Page from the Dalmasse Hotel (novel), The Page from the Dalmasse Hotel''. It was later adapted into The Page from the Dalmasse Hotel (1933 film), a 1933 film starring Dolly Haas.Hake p.58 Two other films were made of her works. Prague
Prague ( ; cs, Praha ; german: Prag, ; la, Praga) is the capital and largest city in the Czech Republic, and the historical capital of Bohemia. On the Vltava river, Prague is home to about 1.3 million people. The city has a temperate oceanic climate, with relatively warm summers and chilly winters.
