Maria Febe Kusumastuti (born 30 September 1989) is an Indonesian badminton player from Boyolali, Central Java. Career In 2008, she won women's singles at the Bitburger Open. The next year, she won women's singles at the Australia Open after beating the 1st seeded Yip Pui Yin with a straight set, 21–18, 21–19. Febe played on the 2010 Uber Cup teams for Indonesia which finished at the semifinals after being defeated by China 0–3. She lost to Wang Yihan at the first match. In the 2009 Indonesia Open Superseries, she made a surprise by beating the 5th-seeded Pi Hongyan of France, 24–22, 6–21, 21–15 in the first round, but then lost to Wang Lin at the quarterfinals. Boyolali Regency

The Indonesia national badminton team represents Indonesia in international badminton team competitions and is controlled by the Badminton Association of Indonesia, the governing body for badminton in Indonesia. Indonesia is one of the only two countries beside China who has won all badminton discipline in the Olympic Games. PB Djarum
PB Djarum is an Indonesian badminton club in Kudus, Central Java. The club was founded at the Djarum ''brak'' (cigarette factory) located at Jl. Bitingan Lama (now called Jl. Lukmonohadi) No. 35 in Kudus in 1969. Djarum's CEO, Budi Hartono, encouraged the use of an on-site badminton court among his employees. A young athlete, Liem Swie King, played well, leading Budi Hartono to seriously develop the Kudus community's activities into the PB Djarum organization. PB Djarum's name gained recognition when Indonesia won the Thomas Cup in 1984 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Ratchanok Intanon ( th, รัชนก อินทนนท์, , ; born 5 February 1995) is a Thai badminton player who became the first Thai to become No.1 in women's singles. The Indonesia Masters is an international badminton tournament in BWF World Tour Super 500 (Super 750 in 2021). Formerly known as the Indonesia Open Grand Prix Gold, it was first held in 2010 in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, and change its venue in different cities every year. The tournament categorized as BWF Grand Prix Gold event, and offered total prize money of US$120,000. The tournament changed its title to Indonesian Masters in 2014. Jiang Yanjiao (; born 26 June 1986), is a Chinese badminton player from Changzhou. She graduated from the Huaqiao University. Career A winner of both the BWF World Junior Championships (2002) and the Asian Junior Championships (2004), Jiang has since emerged as one of the world's leading women's singles players. She won the Chinese national title in 2005, the Denmark Open in 2006, the Asian Championships in both 2007 and 2008, and the China Open in 2008. Jiang played singles for China's world champion Uber Cup (women's international) teams of 2006 and 2008. Wang Shixian (; ; born 13 February 1990) is a retired Chinese professional badminton player. She is a former World No. 1 in women's singles. Career Wang Shixian was admitted into Chinese Junior National Team in 2005 and was soon promoted to the second-level adult team a year later, but she got the chance to compete in the international stages only in 2009, after being promoted to the first-level adult team. 2007–2009 Wang participated in 2007 BWF World Junior Championships being unseeded. Wang Lin (badminton)
Wang Lin (born March 30, 1989 in Hangzhou) is a badminton player from China. Wang Lin was crowned the world champion after winning the gold medal at the 2010 BWF World Championships held at Paris defeating fellow Chinese Wang Xin 21–11, 19–21, 21–13. In 2006, the 17-year-old, Wang Lin beat Xie Xingfang in the final of the China Masters Super Series. Shortly after her World Championship triumph in Paris, Wang Lin suffered a severe knee ligament tear during her match against Maria Febe Kusumastuti in China Masters Super Series tournament. The injury was so severe to the extent it ruled out Wang Lin completely from playing for almost six months after her knee operation.
