Jockey Club Government Secondary School or JCGSS (), formed in 1960, is a government funded full-time secondary school in Oxford Road, Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong. The school was named after the Royal Hong Kong Jockey Club who funded the construction of the school building complex. History Jockey Club Government Secondary School was established in 1960 as Jockey Club Modern School (). The school was the first English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) (Anglo-Chinese) co-education secondary school founded by the Government of Hong Kong. Tseung Kwan O New Town is one of the nine new towns in Hong Kong, built mainly on reclaimed land in the northern half of Junk Bay (known as Tseung Kwan O in Chinese/Cantonese language) in southeastern New Territories, after which it is named.
