Marginal Tietê
Marginal Tietê (officially SP-015) is a section of this highway that runs through the city of São Paulo, Brazil. The name of this section comes from the fact that each way of the expressway runs near a different waterfront of the Tietê River. It is a very important road of São Paulo, connecting the East, North and West portions of the city, and linking the Lapa neighbourhood and the Penha neighbourhood. It provides access to the Castelo Branco highway, the Bandeirantes highway, the Anhangüera highway, the Presidente Dutra highway, the Fernão Dias highway, the Ayrton Senna highway and the São Paulo International Airport. The Campo de Marte Airport, the Estádio Parque São Jorge and the Estádio do Canindé are located near the freeway. Marginal Pinheiros (officially SP-015) is a section of the highway that runs through the city of São Paulo, Brazil along the Pinheiros River. It is one of the most important roads in São Paulo, linking the north and south zones, though this east - west connection, beginning at the triple border of Campos Grande, Cidade Dutra and Socorro and ending at the border of Vila Leopoldina and Jaguaré. It provides access to many important highways of the state of São Paulo, including the Anchieta Highway and the Imigrantes Highway via the Bandeirantes Avenue, the Raposo Tavares Highway and the Régis Bittencourt Highway via the ''Francisco Morato Avenue'', and to the Castelo Branco highway via the Cebolão, a complex of accesses linking Marginal Pinheiros, Marginal Tietê and the aforementioned highway. São Paulo Indy 300
The Itaipava São Paulo Indy 300 presented by Nestlé was an event in the IRL IndyCar Series, contested in the 2010 through 2013 IndyCar Series seasons. The event was originally announced on November 25, 2009, as the first championship event for the series outside North America and Japan, and the first American open-wheel race in the country since the Rio 200 at Jacarepaguá in the 2000 CART season. Due to a lengthy distance to travel from most team bases, the event promoters offered each team a six-figure sum of money, as well as paying for all expenses. The street circuit race track was laid out in the Santana district, birthplace of legendary Brazilian driver Ayrton Senna and Brazilian auto racing pioneer Chico Landi. The Estádio do Canindé, also known as Estádio Oswaldo Teixeira Duarte, is a football stadium inaugurated on January 11, 1956 in Canindé neighborhood, São Paulo, São Paulo state, with a maximum capacity of 21,004 spectators. Although the stadium's maximum capacity is 28,500 people, due to a Paulista Football Federation decision, and following FIFA requirements, Canindé Stadium had its maximum capacity reduced to 25,470 spectators. The Estádio Alfredo Schürig, most commonly known as Estádio Parque São Jorge, or Fazendinha, is a football stadium inaugurated on July 22, 1928 in São Paulo, Brazil. It can hold up to 13,969 people. Campo de Marte Airport is the first airport built in São Paulo, Brazil, opened in 1929. It is named after Champ de Mars, in Paris, which in turn got its name from Campus Martius, in Rome. During a transitional period, the airport is jointly operated by Infraero and XP Inc. History Campo de Marte was the first airport built in São Paulo, officially opened on July 26, 1929. Tietê River
The Tietê River (Portuguese, Rio Tietê, ) is a Brazilian river in the state of São Paulo. The name Tietê was registered for the first time on a map published in 1748 by d’Anville. The name signifies "The truthful river", or "truthful waters” in Tupi. Source The rivers' headwaters are in the Serra do Mar, to the east of São Paulo city.
