Margareta Biörnstad
Margareta Biörnstad (23May 1928 – 1November 2019), was a Swedish archaeologist. She was Sweden's first female National Antiquarian () from 1987 to 1993. Personal life Biörnstad, born Sköld in Stockholm, was the daughter of former Swedish Minister for Defence Per Edvin Sköld and Edit Persson. She was the sister to former Chief of the Army Nils Sköld and former Marshal of the Realm Per Sköld. In 1952, she married Arne Biörnstad (1924–2012). , she lived in Stockholm. Career She got her fil.lic. degree in archaeology in 1955, and in 1992, she received an honorary doctorate from the Chalmers University of Technology. In 1951, she started working at the Swedish National Heritage Board and the Swedish History Museum, where she was Head Antiquarian from 1972 to 1987, and in 1987 she became Sweden's first female National Antiquarian, a position she held until 1993. Swedish Centre For Architecture And Design
The Swedish Centre for Architecture and Design ( sv, Statens centrum för arkitektur och design) or ArkDes, previously known as the Museum of Architecture (''Arkitekturmuseet''), is a Swedish national museum dedicated to architecture and design. It is located on the island of Skeppsholmen in Stockholm, Sweden, in the same complex as Moderna Museet. LIBRIS
LIBRIS (Library Information System) is a Swedish national union catalogue maintained by the National Library of Sweden in Stockholm. It is possible to freely search about 6.5 million titles nationwide. In addition to bibliographic records, one for each book or publication, LIBRIS also contains an authority file of people. For each person there is a record connecting name, birth and occupation with a unique identifier. The MARC Code for the Swedish Union Catalog is SE-LIBR, normalized: selibr. The development of LIBRIS can be traced to the mid-1960s. Stockholms Nation
Stockholms nation is a student society and one of thirteen nations at Uppsala University. The nation has its origins in the mid-17th century and regards 1649 as its official date of foundation, although this is uncertain. A document in the archives mentions students enrolled in the nation in 1649, but this is a copy of an original that was lost in a fire in 1702, and the nation is mentioned in the protocols of the consistory (board) of the university from 1656 as having been in existence for three years, which would put the foundation date at about 1653. The old part of the nation building was designed by architect Johan Fredrik Åbom, and was completed in 1848. A new wing of the nation building, begun in 1961, is designed by modernist architect Peter Celsing.
