Margaret Kerry (née Lynch; born May 11, 1929) is an American screen actress, dancer, voice artist, camera double, radio producer, director and host and media personality, best known for her work as a model for Walt Disney Pictures, where she served as the inspiration and pantomimed the ''Peter Pan'' character of Tinker Bell. Early life Born as Peggy Lynch, in Springfield, Illinois, she was adopted at three years old and moved to Los Angeles. Her first role was as a fairy in the 1935 film ''A Midsummer Night's Dream'' directed by Max Reinhardt. She worked under her real name as a dancer and actor in three of the ''Our Gang'' comedy shorts. Kerry served as a camera double for Elizabeth Taylor in film ''National Velvet'' at MGM. She attracted the attention of Eddie Cantor, who cast her in the role of his teenage daughter in the film ''If You Knew Susie''. A mime artist, or simply mime (from Greek , , "imitator, actor"), is a person who uses ''mime'' (also called ''pantomime'' outside of Britain), the acting out of a story through body motions without the use of speech, as a theatrical medium or as a performance art. In earlier times, in English, such a performer would typically be referred to as a mummer. Marc Fraser Davis (March 30, 1913 – January 12, 2000) was a prominent American artist and animator for Walt Disney Animation Studios. He was one of Disney's Nine Old Men, the famed core animators of Disney animated films, and was revered for his knowledge and understanding of visual aesthetics. After his work on ''One Hundred and One Dalmatians'' he moved to Walt Disney Imagineering to work on rides for Disneyland and Walt Disney World before retiring in 1978. Walt Disney once said of Davis, "Marc can do story, he can do character, he can animate, he can design shows for me. All I have to do is tell him what I want and it's there! He's my Renaissance man." Cambria Productions was the West Hollywood, California animation production studio most famous for its wide usage of the Syncro-Vox technique of animation developed by Edwin Gillette, who was a co-partner in the studio. Owned by Clark S. Haas, Jr. from 1957 until 1965, the studio produced ''Clutch Cargo'' (1959-1960), ''Space Angel'' (1962), '' Captain Fathom'' (1965), and ''The New 3 Stooges'' (1965-1966). A test film for another series, '' Doc Potts'' or ''Doc Potts and Weselly'', was prepared in 1960, though the series was apparently never produced. Two sample episodes of a proposed Moon Mullins series were produced along with a sales film to promote it to local television stations, but it didn't clear enough markets to go into production.
