Marfa Ekimova
Marfa Ekimova (born 17 January 2005) is a Russian born British rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2022 Commonwealth Games All-Around champion. Personal life Born in Saint Petersburg, Russia, at age two she moved to London, England. She took up gymnastics at age six after having tried different sports, dance and theatre but, even though she stated that when she first tried the sport she hated it, rhythmic gymnastics was her passion. She now trains up to eight hours a day. In her spare time, Marfa is a passionate music lover, especially playing the bassoon and piano, and studies A Level music at Trinity Laban Conservatory as well as completing her NCFE Level 3 Diploma/Extended Diploma in Sport and Physical Activity at the City of Westminster College. Louise Christie
Louise Christie (born 22 September 2000) is a British rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2022 Commonwealth Games silver medalist with ribbon. Personal life Christie took up the sport at age five after her mother signed her up for gymnastics, not realizing it was rhythmic, and as of 2022 she trains for four hours per day. Her gymnastics idols are Salome Pazhava and Linoy Ashram, other athletes she admires are Simone Biles, Tom Daley and Andy Murray as they had to face challenges to achieve success. She’s studying Applied Sport & Exercise Science at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. The 2022 FIG World Cup circuit in Rhythmic Gymnastics is a series of competitions officially organized and promoted by the International Gymnastics Federation. Kitakyushu

The 2021 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships were held from 27 to 31 October 2021 in Kitakyushu, Japan. Dina Averina broke the record for the most medals won at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships with 22 total medals and also became the first gymnast to win four World all-around titles. Gemma Frizelle
Gemma Natasha Frizelle (born 2 May 1998) is a Welsh rhythmic gymnast, who won the individual hoop event at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. She has won multiple medals at the Welsh and British Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, and also competed at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Career Frizelle took up rhythmic gymnastics at the age of 12. She trains at Llanelli Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy. She finished second at the 2015 Welsh Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, as well as the all-around events at the 2016 and 2017 British Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships. Frizelle competed at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. She finished 15th in the individual all-around competition, and was part of the Welsh team that finished fifth in the team all-around event.
