Mareyada Haadu
''Mareyada Haadu'' is a 1981 Kannada-language romance film directed and written by R. N. Jayagopal and produced by K. S. Sacchidananda. The film stars Ananth Nag, Manjula and Leelavathi. The film was a musical hit with the songs composed by G. K. Venkatesh considered evergreen hits. The cinematographer R. N. K. Prasad was awarded with the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Cinematographer for this film. Ananth Nag
Dr Anant Nagarkatte (born 4 September 1948) is an Indian actor whose predominant contribution has been in Kannada cinema. He has acted in over 300 films which include over 200 Kannada films as well as Hindi, Telugu, Marathi, Malayalam and English films. He has featured in theatre plays, parallel cinema and television shows. Nag made his feature film debut through ''Sankalpa'' (1973) directed by Prof. P.V Nanjaraj Urs. Sankalpa went on to win seven state awards in Karnataka. His foray into parallel cinema was through Shyam Benegal's '' Ankur'' (1974). Manjula (Kannada Actress)
Manjula (8 November 1954 – 12 September 1986) was an Indian actress who acted in Kannada language films and also few Tamil (credited as ''Kumari Manjula'') and Telugu films. She was one of the most successful and prominent actresses of Kannada films in 1970s and 1980s. She acted in more than 100 films and won several awards for her performances, including a Filmfare Award. Personal life Manjula was born to M. H. Leelavathi (born Leela Kiran) is an Indian actress who worked in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu films. She has acted in more than 600 films (more than 400 in Kannada alone) throughout her career for more than 50 years. Shivaram
S. Shivaram (28 January 1938 – 4 December 2021), popularly known simply as Shivaram or Shivaramanna, was an Indian actor, producer and director whose Kannada cinema career has spanned six decades. He has played roles including lead hero performances, character roles, comedic roles, as well as supporting parts. He teamed up with his elder brother, S. Ramanathan and produced several films under the name Rashi Brothers apart from directing ''Hrudaya Sangama'' in 1972. They together produced movies directed by Puttanna Kanagal like ''Gejje Pooje'' and ''Upasane''. They also produced Dr. Rajkumar 's 175th movie ''Nanobba Kalla'' and the Tamil movie '' Dharma Durai'' starring Rajinikanth which was a remake of the 1989 Kannada movie ''Deva''. Chethan Ramarao (1937–2016) was an Indian actor who appeared in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu films. Life Ramarao was born in 1937 at Sindhaghatta in KR Pete taluk in Mandya district of Karnataka.
