Marcus Oscarsson
Marcus Oscarsson (born 21 March 1976) is a Swedish political commentator and journalist. He is best known as a political expert commentator for TV4. Early life Marcus Oscarsson studied in Hultsfred, Sweden and then continued his studies in economy at the Linnaeus University in Växjö. In 2006, he started working at the Regeringskansliet for the government, and then became a trainee at the chambers of commerce in Denver. Career For five years Oscarsson was a local reporter for the newspaper ''Vimmerby Tidning''; he then worked at '' Barometern-OT'', a local newspaper in Oskarshamn for twelve years. He has since also been a reporter for ''The Times'', ''The Sunday Times'', and the ''Daily Mail'', being the newspapers' reporter for the Nordic region. Hultsfred Municipality
Hultsfred Municipality (''Hultsfreds kommun'') is a municipality in Kalmar County, in south-eastern Sweden. The seat is in the town of Hultsfred. The present municipality was created in 1971 through the amalgamation of the market town (''köping'') of Hultsfred (instituted in 1927) with a number of surrounding municipalities. In 1863 there were eight entities in the area. Hultsfred is known as the site of a major rock festival in Sweden, the Hultsfred Festival. History In the age known as the Nordic Bronze Age, the area had some shipping of furs to northern Germany and the Roman army, but not much is known from that time other than the area being inhabited; there has also been older finds from 3000 to 4000 BC. ''Aftonbladet'' (, lit. "The evening paper") is a Swedish daily newspaper published in Stockholm, Sweden. It is one of the largest daily newspapers in the Nordic countries. History and profile The newspaper was founded by Lars Johan Hierta in December 1830 under the name of ''Aftonbladet i Stockholm'' during the modernization of Sweden. Often critical and oppositional, the paper was repeatedly banned from publishing. However, Hierta circumvented the bans by constantly reviving the paper under slightly modified names, as, legally speaking, a new publication. Thus, on 16 February 1835, he issued the first edition of New Aftonbladet, which would – after yet another ban – be followed by Newer Aftonbladet, in turn followed by Fourth Aftonbladet, Fifth Aftonbladet, and so on. ''Aktuellt'' (literally "current; topical" or "actual") is a Swedish nightly news programme produced by Sveriges Television (SVT) and broadcast on its second channel, SVT2 in Sweden. It was first broadcast on 2 September 1958. With the start of TV 2 (forerunner of SVT2) in 1969, the ''Aktuellt'' brand disappeared but was revived in 1972 when TV1 began airing two main bulletins at 6pm and 9pm.
