Marcus Hamblett is an English musician and record producer. Music from his solo album, ''Concrete'', has been played on BBC Radio 3's Late Junction shows by Mara Carlyle, Nick Luscombe and Max Reinhardt and on BBC 6 Music by Tom Robinson. The Quietus said his album, "could be called post-rock if it didn't also sound pre-rock, or maybe as if rock had never happened and folk, modern jazz and the classical avant-garde had merged into a stream of hip, innovative music to soundtrack the changes and discontents of the second half of the twentieth century instead, and Joe Meek had dug John Cage." Guitar
The guitar is a fretted musical instrument that typically has six strings. It is usually held flat against the player's body and played by strumming or plucking the strings with the dominant hand, while simultaneously pressing selected strings against frets with the fingers of the opposite hand. Sarah Elizabeth Blaskow (born 23 September 1976), known professionally as Sarah Blasko, is an Australian singer, songwriter, musician and record producer. From April 2002, Blasko developed her solo career after fronting Sydney-based band, Acquiesce, between the mid-1990s and 2001. She had performed under her then married name, Sarah Semmens, and, after leaving Acquiesce, as Sorija in a briefly existing duo of that name. Landshapes
Landshapes are a British band formed in 2012, known primarily for its effects-heavy psychedelic alternative rock. They released their debut full-length album ''Rambutan'' on indie record label Bella Union in 2013 and their second album, ''Heyoon'', in May 2015. The group consists of Heloise Tunstall-Behrens (vocals, violin) and Luisa Gerstein (vocals, ukulele) with Jemma Freeman (guitar, vocals) and Dan Blackett (drums, vocals). They were formerly known as Lulu and the Lampshades and they met when its members were at the University of Bristol. Band members Tunstall-Behrens and Gerstein are known for their revival of the 1931 Carter Family song "When I'm Gone" as "Cups". While Landshapes was on hiatus, Gerstein and Tunstall-Behrens remained active with Deep Throat Choir, releasing an album on Bella Union in 2017, and now perform with Blood Moon Project. Woodpecker Wooliams was the musical moniker of Brighton, UK-based musician Gemma Williams. She produced music as Woodpecker Wooliams from 2009 to 2013, releasing the studio albums ''Diving Down'' (2009) and ''The Bird School of Being Human'' (2012). Williams has since worked on Becky Becky with Peter J D Mason. Peggy Sue is an English indie pop/ indie folk band from Brighton. The band has toured with a number of well-known indie artists including Mumford & Sons, The Maccabees, First Aid Kit, Kate Nash, and Jack White. Fear of Men is a Brighton-based band that formed in early 2011 and consists of Jess Weiss (vocals/guitar), Daniel Falvey (guitars/keyboards) and Michael Miles (drums).
