Marcus Birro
Marcus Adriano Birro (born 15 June 1972 in Gothenburg, Sweden) is a Swedish-Italian (Italian citizen) poet, author and columnist and former frontman of cult punk band The Christer Petterssons. Birro blogged at Expressen and was a presenter on at Sveriges Radio Östergötland, where he was the host of ''Karlavagnen'' on Sveriges Radio P4. He is the brother of author Peter Birro. Marcus Birro lives in Södermalm, is divorced from his wife of 4 years, they have two children together. In 2015, Birro told the press about his ongoing relationship with a married woman, Micaela Kinnunen, wife of politician Martin Kinnunen Martin Anders Kinnunen, (born 15 May 1983) is a Swedish-Finnish member of parliament for the Sweden Democrats party. Peter Birro
Peter Birro (born 19 July 1966 in Gothenburg) is a Swedish script writer, poet and musician. In the 1980s and early 1990s, Birro was an obscure poet who performed with the almost equally obscure Swedish band The Christer Petterssons (named after the suspected assassin of Swedish Prime minister Olof Palme, Christer Pettersson). Birro's breakthrough as a writer was his script for the TV-series ''Hammarkullen'' (1997) directed by Agneta Fagerström-Olsson, which follows some people living in a low-income suburb of Gothenburg. It was widely praised for its humor and realism, although some of the real inhabitants of Hammarkullen were not amused. Birro's first film script, ''Knockout'' (2000), also directed by Fagerström-Olsson and telling the story of a washed up Swedish boxer lost in the Russian city of Murmansk, was a critical and box-office failure. Christer Pettersson
Carl Gustaf Christer Pettersson (23 April 1947 – 29 September 2004) was a Swedish criminal who was a suspect in the 1986 assassination of Olof Palme, the Prime Minister of Sweden. In 1989 he was convicted of the murder in district court but acquitted on appeal the following year. Early life Pettersson was born on 23 April 1947, to Roland Pettersson (1916–1977) and Inga Maria Hansson (1918–1973) and grew up in a middle-class family in Solna outside of Stockholm and later moved to the suburb of Sollentuna. In his youth, he attended a theatrical school (''Calle Flygares teaterskola''), where he was considered to be promising by at least one of his teachers. However, Pettersson suffered a head injury from which he would never fully recover. Petterson then began a period of substance abuse, which would eventually force him to drop out of school. ''Expressen'' (''The Express'') is one of two nationwide evening newspapers in Sweden, the other being '' Aftonbladet''. ''Expressen'' was founded in 1944; its symbol is a wasp and its slogans are "it stings" or "''Expressen'' to your rescue". Overview The first edition of ''Expressen'' was published on 16 November 1944. Södermalm, often shortened to just Söder, is a district and island in central Stockholm. Overview The district covers the large island of the same name (formerly called ''Åsön''). Although Södermalm usually is considered an island, water to both its north and south does not flow freely but passes through locks.
