Marcos Paquetá
Marcos César Dias de Castro (born 27 August 1958), known as Marcos Paquetá, is a former Brazilian footballer who played as a central midfielder and a current manager. Career Born in Rio de Janeiro but raised in the Paquetá Island, he started his career at hometown side America's youth setup. In 1978 he moved to Vasco da Gama, and spent his first season with the under-20 squad before being promoted to the first team. He eventually retired in 1981, aged just 23. Paquetá started his managerial career in 1987, while in charge of first club America. In the following year he moved abroad for the first time, taking over UAE Pro-League side Al-Shabbab. He left the club in 1989, and was subsequently appointed manager of Flamengo's youth setup. In 1995, Paquetá was an interim manager of the first team for one match, after the arrival of Edinho. Edino Nazareth Filho (born 5 June 1955), known as Edinho, is a Brazilian former football player and manager. He played as a central defender with Fluminense, Grêmio, Toronto Blizzard and with the Brazil national team. He is currently a sports commentator. International career Edinho obtained 45 caps with the Brazil national team between March 1977 and June 1986. He took part at three "FIFA World Cup" final tournament. The UAE Pro League ( ar, دوري المحترفين الإماراتي), known for sponsorship reasons as the ADNOC Pro League, is the top professional football league in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The first team to win the title was Al Orouba (Sharjah), whilst Al Ain has the record with 14 league titles to their name. Paquetá Island ( pt, Ilha de Paquetá) is an island in Guanabara Bay, Rio de Janeiro. The name of the island is a Tupi word meaning "many pacas". The island is an auto-free zone, so travel is limited to bicycles and horse-drawn carriages. Paquetá has twenty baobabs (a type of African tree), the only ones in Brazil beside the baobab in Passeio Público.
