Marco Zaninelli
Marco Zaninelli (born 25 April 1977) is an Italian former footballer. Zaninelli had spent most of his career in Italian lower divisions, especially in Lega Pro. Zaninelli also played in Serie B from 2004 until 2009. Biography Settaurense Born in Tione di Trento, Trentino, Zaninelli started his career at Settaurense. He followed the team from Promozione (Italian 7th level) to Eccellenza Trentino – South Tyrol in 1993 and Serie D in 1995. The small team from Storo finished in the mid-table in 1995–96 Serie D. Lumezzane After the season Zaninelli was signed by Lombardy team Lumezzane. He spent seasons with the Serie C team, winning 1996–97 Serie C2. After Lumezzane merely promoted to Serie B in 2004 (losing to Cesena in the playoffs), Zaninelli was signed by Serie B club Treviso along with Luis Centi on 31 August 2004. Lega Pro Prima Divisione
Lega Pro Prima Divisione was the third highest football league in Italy. It consisted of 33 teams, divided geographically into two divisions of 16 and 17 teams for group A and B respectively. Until 2008 it was known as Serie C1. Before the 1978–79 season there were only three leagues of professional football in Italy, the third being Serie C. In 1978, it was decided to split Serie C into Serie C1 and Serie C2. Serie C2, the fourth highest professional league in the Italian system, was also renamed in 2008 and was called Lega Pro Seconda Divisione. Davide Saverino (born 20 January 1977) is an Italian former footballer who played as a midfielder. He played more than 100 games in Serie B, and also played in Serie C1, Serie C2 and Serie D. Career Saverino started his career at Varese of Serie C2. Co-ownership (football)
Co-ownership is a system whereby two football clubs own the contract of a player jointly, although the player is only registered to play for one club. It is not a universal system, but is used in some countries, including Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. It was formerly commonplace in Italy, though the practice has now been abolished there. This type of deal differs from third-party ownership, in that in the latter, the player's contract is owned by a non-footballing entity, such as a management company. Italy Co-ownership deals were common in Italian football, before being banned at the end of the 2014–15 season.
