Marco Sørensen
Marco L. Sørensen (born 6 September 1990) is a Danish racing driver currently racing for Aston Martin Racing as a factory driver in the FIA World Endurance Championship. He was part of the Renault Driver Development. He has competed in such series as Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, ADAC Formel Masters and the British Formula Ford Championship. His younger brother, Lasse, is also a racing driver and currently competes in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series. Career Sørensen made his debut in karting back in 1994 and had his first real race in 1998. He began Formula racing in 2006 with Formula Ford Denmark. In 2008 was he able to place fourth in the ADAC Formel Masters despite only completing half of the season. Sørensen was taken under Renault's wing and became a part of the 2009 Renault Driver Development Programme with Davide Valsecchi and Charles Pic. Lasse Sørensen (racing Driver)
Lasse Lorentz Sørensen (born 7 December 1996) is a Danish professional racing driver. He currently competes in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, driving the No. 66 Chevrolet Camaro for DF1 Racing in both the Elite 1 and Elite 2 class and is the defending Elite 2 Champion. Sørensen won the French F4 Championship in 2014 and has competed in categories such as Formula Ford Denmark and Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 in the past. Racing career Sørensen began his career in 1998 in karting. In 2012 he switched to the Danish Formula Ford championship, he raced there from 2012–2013 ending 2nd in the standings in 2013. 2015 GP2 Series Season
The 2015 GP2 Series season was the forty-ninth season of the second-tier of Formula One feeder championship and also eleventh season under the GP2 Series moniker, a championship for open-wheel racing cars run as a support series to the 2015 Formula One World Championship. NASCAR Whelen Euro Series
The NASCAR Whelen Euro Series (formerly known as Racecar Euro Series and Euro-Racecar NASCAR Touring Series) is an official NASCAR stock-car racing series based in Europe. It is one of NASCAR's three international-sanctioned series, alongside the NASCAR Pinty's Series and the NASCAR PEAK Mexico Series, and the only one based outside North America. Renault Sport Academy
The Alpine Academy – formerly known as the RF1 Driver Programme, Renault Driver Development and Renault Sport Academy – is a program to support young racing drivers through their careers. The programme was created by Renault F1 in 2002. In 2011, the programme was renamed LRGP Academy, following the rebranding of the team to "Lotus Renault GP". In 2012, the programme was renamed Lotus F1 Team iRace Professional Programme and 2013–2015, the programme was renamed Lotus F1 Junior Team. In motorsports, a factory-backed racing team or driver is one sponsored by a vehicle manufacturer in official competitions. As motorsport competition is an expensive endeavor, some degree of factory support is desired and often necessary for success. The 2008 ADAC Formel Masters season was the first season of the open wheel racing series from Germany. The ADAC Formel Masters is a new continental series for junior drivers powered by Volkswagen, a 1.6-litre FSI engine delivering will power the single-seaters made by the Italian manufacturer Dallara. The season started on May 9, 2008, at the Oschersleben and ended on October 26 at Hockenheim with the win of the Portuguese driver Armando Parente. 2011 German Formula Three Season
The 2011 ATS Formel 3 Cup was the ninth edition of the German F3 Cup and the last one with FIA specification F3 engines. For the 2012 season, the series will use Volkswagen engines only.
