Marco Sansovini
Marco Sansovini (born 17 June 1980) is an Italian professional footballer who last played as striker for Italian Serie D club San Nicolò Notaresco. Sansovini was nicknamed "Il Sindaco". Career Early career Born in Rome, capital of Italy, Sansovini started his professional career at A.S. Roma. He was loaned to Serie C1 club Foggia in 1998–99 season. In mid-2000 he left for Serie C2 club Viareggio in a co-ownership deal for a peppercorn fee of 1 million Italian lire (about €516) along with Andrea Giallombardo. He only scored twice in 2000–01 Serie C2. In June 2001 Roma gave up the remain 50% registration rights of both Giallombardo and Sansovini. In 2001–02 Serie C2, Sansovini found a way to score with 8 goals. In 2002–03 he changed to play for Serie C1 club Sassari Torres. However, he only scored once in the first half of the season. Franco Lerda
Franco Lerda (born 19 August 1967) is an Italian football manager and a former player who played as a forward. Club career Lerda began his career with the Torino youth system, at the age of 16, joining the first team during the 1985–86 season. He made his professional debut with the club on 6 November 1985, coming on for Júnior in Torino's 3–1 defeat to Hajduk in the return leg of the round of 16 of the UEFA Cup. He made his Serie A debut on 24 November, in a 4–1 home win over Pisa, coming on for Schachner. He remained with the club for two seasons, collecting 19 appearances, and scoring 1 goal. 2007–08 Serie B
The 2007–08 Serie B regular season is the seventy-sixth since its establishment. It started on August 25, 2007, and ended with the promotion playoff final on June 15, 2008. At the end of the year, three teams were promoted to Serie A, the first two via direct promotion (league champions, Chievo Verona, and Bologna), and the third team after two rounds of playoffs (Lecce). Four teams were relegated to Serie C1. The bottom three were relegated directly (Cesena, Spezia and Ravenna), as was the fourth-to-last team (Avellino), since they finished 9 points back of the fifth-to-last, Treviso, denying them a chance at a survival "relegation-playoff". The 2007–08 Serie B season marked the first appearance in the division for newly promoted Grosseto. The Serie B (), currently named Serie Balkrishna Industries, BKT for sponsorship reasons, is the second-highest division in the Italian football league system after the Serie A. The 2006–07 Serie C1 was the twenty-ninth edition of Serie C1, the third highest league in the Italian football league system. It was divided into two phases: the regular season, played from 3 September 2006, to 13 May 2007, and the playoff phase. Once the regular season was over teams placed 2nd to 5th entered a ''playoff'' to determine the second team in each division to be promoted to Serie B. At the same time, teams placed 14th to 17th entered a ''playout'' for the right to remain in Serie C1 the following season. Leandro Lázzaro (born 8 March 1974) is a former Argentine football striker, who is currently playing in Indoor Football. Career Lázzaro started his career in 1994 with Nueva Chicago in the 2nd division of Argentine football. In 1998 Lázzaro moved to the Czech Republic to play for FC Slovan Liberec.
