Marcin Jędrusiński
Marcin Jędrusiński (born 28 September 1981) is a Polish former sprint athlete. Jędrusiński represented Poland at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and the 2004 Olympics in Athens. He competed at the 4x100 metres relay together with Dariusz Kuc, Lukasz Chyla and Marcin Andrzej Nowak. In their qualification heat they did not finish due to a mistake in the baton exchange and they were eliminated. At the individual 200 metres he qualified second in his first round heat behind Shawn Crawford in a time of 20.64 seconds. He improved his time in the second round to 20.58 seconds, but only finished fourth behind Brendan Christian, Churandy Martina and Kristof Beyens. His time was not enough to advance to the semi-finals. The European Cup is a former athletics competition for European teams that was replaced by the European Team Championships starting in 2009. The European Cup saw most of the major nations of Europe compete. Originally known as the Bruno Zauli Cup, it first took place in 1965 in Stuttgart (men) and Kassel (women), Germany. Initially, the competition was a bi-annual event (tri-annual once); however, from 1993, it took place once every year. Kristof Beyens (born 13 July 1983 in Herentals) is a Belgian Sprint (running), sprint Track and field athletics, athlete, who specialises in the 100 metres, 100 and 200 metres. His personal best time over 200 metres is 20.44 s, achieved in Osaka during the 2007 World Championships in Athletics, World Championships. Beyens finished fourth in the 200 metres final at the 2006 European Athletics Championships in Gothenburg. In the same year, he was awarded the Gouden Spike. Churandy Thomas Martina (born 3 July 1984) is a Dutch sprinter from Curaçao, currently representing the Netherlands. Previously, he represented the Netherlands Antilles until its dissolution in 2010. His personal best time over 100 metres is 9.91 seconds, a Dutch record, achieved in a 2012 London Olympic Games semi-final. In addition, he holds the 200 metres national record with a time of 19.81 seconds, achieved at the IAAF Diamond League meeting in Lausanne, Switzerland. He originally finished second in the 200 m at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing but was disqualified due to a lane violation.
