Marcel Langiller
Marcel Langiller (2 June 1908 – 25 December 1980) was a French footballer and is an Olympian. He played in a striker role, and was nicknamed "La Caille". He was part of France’s squad for the 1930 FIFA World Cup Club career Langiller was born in Charenton-le-Pont, Val-de-Marne. His youth club was CA Paris from 1923 to 1928. He started his senior career at Excelsior Athlétic Club de Roubaix in 1928. From 1933 to 1934 he played for Red Star. In 1935, he went to AS Saint-Étienne. In 1937, he went back to his youth club, CA Paris, ending his career in 1939. International career His first cap with France was against Spain on 22/05/1927. He scored his first goal against England on 17/05/1928. Olympic Stadium (Amsterdam)
The Olympic Stadium (, ) is a sporting venue which was used as the main stadium for the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam. The venue is currently used mostly for Sport of athletics, athletics, other sports events and music concerts. When completed, the stadium had a capacity of 31,600. Following the completion of the rival De Kuip stadium in Rotterdam in 1937, the Amsterdam authorities increased the capacity of the Olympic Stadium to 64,000 by adding a second ring to the stadium. Estadio Pocitos was a multi-use stadium located in the Pocitos district of Montevideo, Uruguay. The stadium, owned by C.A. Peñarol, was mainly used for football matches from 1921 to 1933. Bart McGhee
Bartholomew "Bertie" or "Bart" McGhee (April 30, 1899 – January 26, 1979) was a soccer player who played as a forward. Born in Scotland, he played for the United States national team at the 1930 FIFA World Cup and scored the second goal in World Cup history against Belgium. He was inducted into the U.S. National Soccer Hall of Fame in 1986. Youth McGhee was the son of former Hibernian player and Heart of Midlothian manager James McGhee, and the brother of Philadelphia Field Club forward Jimmy McGhee.
