Marc Fischbach
Marc Fischbach (born 22 February 1946) is a former Luxembourgish politician belonging to the Christian Social People's Party. From 1979 until 1984, Fischbach was a Member of the European Parliament. He served as Minister for Defence and Minister for the Police Force between 20 July 1984 and 14 July 1989, before transferring to become Minister for Justice until 30 January 1998, when he resigned from the government. Robert Krieps
Robert Krieps (15 October 1922 – 1 August 1990) was a Luxembourgish politician. He served as the President of the Luxembourg Socialist Workers' Party from 1980 until 1985, as well as serving in the Luxembourgish cabinet under both Gaston Thorn and Jacques Santer. Krieps was the son of Ernestine (Ehlinger) and Adolphe Krieps. He was married to Renée Ketter. Luc Frieden
Luc Frieden (born 16 September 1963) is a Luxembourgish politician, lawyer, and business executive. He has held several posts in the cabinet of Luxembourg, including as Minister for Justice (1998–2009), Minister for Defence (2004–2006), and Minister for Finances (2009–2013). He is a member of the Trilateral Commission. Early life and education Luc Frieden completed high school in his home country Luxembourg and received thereafter an international university education in France, the UK and the US. He graduated in business law from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Jacques Poos
Jacques François Poos (3 June 1935 – 19 February 2022) was a Luxembourgish politician. Early life and education Born in 1935, in Luxembourg, Poos was a trained economist and became a doctor of economics in 1961, when he graduated from the University of Lausanne. Career in politics Poos was a long-time member of the Luxembourg Socialist Workers' Party.
