Robert Krieps
Robert Krieps (15 October 1922 – 1 August 1990) was a Luxembourgish politician. He served as the President of the Luxembourg Socialist Workers' Party from 1980 until 1985, as well as serving in the Luxembourgish cabinet under both Gaston Thorn and Jacques Santer. Krieps was the son of Ernestine (Ehlinger) and Adolphe Krieps. He was married to Renée Ketter. He was the grandfather of Luxembourgish actress Vicky Krieps Vicky Krieps (born 4 October 1983) is a Luxembourgish-German actress. The Luxembourg Socialist Workers' Party ( lb, Lëtzebuerger Sozialistesch Aarbechterpartei, french: Parti ouvrier socialiste luxembourgeois, german: Luxemburger Sozialistische Arbeiterpartei), abbreviated to LSAP or POSL, is a social-democratic, pro-European political party in Luxembourg. The LSAP is the third-largest party in the Chamber of Deputies, having won 10 of 60 seats at the 2018 general election, and has one seat in the European Parliament. Dalheim ( lb, Duelem) is a commune and town in south-eastern Luxembourg. It is part of the canton of Remich, which is part of the district of Grevenmacher. , the town of Dalheim, which lies in the centre of the commune, has a population of 1,232.
