Maplewood is a city in Ramsey County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 42,088 at the 2020 census. Maplewood is ten minutes' drive from downtown Saint Paul. It stretches along the northern and eastern borders of Saint Paul. Maplewood is home to the corporate headquarters and main campus of 3M Corporation. The city is also home to the Maplewood Mall and St. John's Hospital. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of , of which is land and is water. Interstate 94 In Minnesota
Interstate 94 (I-94) in the US state of Minnesota runs east–west through the central portion of the state. The highway connects the cities of Moorhead, Fergus Falls, Alexandria, St. Cloud, Minneapolis, and Saint Paul. Authorized in 1956, it was mostly constructed in the 1960s. Route description I-94 enters the state from North Dakota at the city of Moorhead and heads southeast after serving Moorhead. Traveling southeast from Moorhead, there are several places where the elevation of I-94 rises slightly; these are "beaches" that formed as the glacial lake rose or fell. Audra Morrison (née Richards) is an American ice hockey forward, currently playing for the Minnesota Whitecaps of the Premier Hockey Federation. Career Over four years at the University of Maine, Richards set the team record for games played with 132, and put up 45 goals (the fifth most in team history), being selected to the Hockey East All-Academic Team four times. On July 9, 2018, Richards signed her first professional contract, with the Metropolitan Riveters of the NWHL. In her rookie season, she put up 8 goals in 16 games. James Patrick O'Brien (born January 29, 1989) is an American professional ice hockey forward who is currently an unrestricted free agent. He most recently played for the then Thomas Sabo Ice Tigers in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Playing career O'Brien played junior hockey for the United States National Under-18 Team in the NAHL from 2004 until 2006. He then entered the University of Minnesota and played a season of hockey for the Golden Gophers as a 17-year-old.
