Maple Ridge Secondary is a public high school in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada, part of School District 42 Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows. Academics Maple Ridge Secondary offers academic courses as part of the Advanced Placement (AP) program, although only the English Language & Composition and English Literature & Composition courses have been taught. It was ranked 201st in the Fraser Institute annual ranking of schools in 2004/05. Maple Ridge is a city in British Columbia, Canada. It is located in the northeastern section of Greater Vancouver between the Fraser River and the Golden Ears, which is a group of mountain summits which are the southernmost of the Garibaldi Ranges of the Coast Mountains. Maple Ridge's population in 2021 was 90,990. Its downtown core is known as Haney. History Maple Ridge was incorporated as a district municipality on September 12, 1874. Twice (; Japanese: トゥワイス, Hepburn: ''To~uwaisu''; commonly stylized as TWICE) is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment. The group is composed of nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. Twice was formed under the television program '' Sixteen'' (2015) and debuted on October 20, 2015, with the extended play (EP) ''The Story Begins''. Taryck Tahid
Taryck Jordan Tahid (born April 21, 2007) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Vancouver FC in the Canadian Premier League. He is the youngest player to ever play in a Canadian Premier League match, as also the youngest goalscorer in league history. Early life Tahid was born in Maple Ridge, British Columbia and was raised in a Ghanaian-Canadian family. He began playing youth soccer at age three with New Westminster Africa United FC, later joining Albion FC, in his hometown of Maple Ridge, British Columbia. In 2018, he joined the VanCity Pro Football Academy, which was founded by his father. He has also trialed with the academies of Spanish club Villarreal, Danish club FC Midtjylland and American club New York Red Bulls.
