Manuel Lombardo
Manuel Lombardo (born 4 December 1998) is an Italian judoka. He is a gold medalist at both the Mediterranean Games and the European Judo Championships. He is also a silver medalist at the World Judo Championships. Career In 2018, he won the gold medal in the men's 66 kg event at the Mediterranean Games held in Tarragona, Spain. He won the gold medal in the men's 66 kg event at the 2021 European Judo Championships held in Lisbon, Portugal. He lost his bronze medal match in the men's 66 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. He won the silver medal in the men's 73 kg event at the 2022 Judo Grand Slam Antalya held in Antalya, Turkey. World Judo Juniors Championships
The World Judo Juniors Championships are the highest level of international judo competition for juniors, 21 years of age or less. The championships are held once every year (except the years when the Olympics take place) by the International Judo Federation, and qualified judoka compete in their respective categories as representatives of their home countries. The 2018 Mediterranean Games ( es, Juegos Mediterráneos de 2018), officially known as the XVIII Mediterranean Games ( es, XVIII Juegos Mediterráneos) and commonly known as Tarragona 2018, was an international multi-sport event held from 22 June to 1 July 2018 in Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain. Mediterranean Games
The Mediterranean Games is a multi-sport event organised by the International Committee of Mediterranean Games (CIJM). It is held every four years among athletes from countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea in Africa, Asia and Europe.
