Chilean Constitutional Convention
The Constitutional Convention () was the constituent body of the Chile, Republic of Chile in charge of drafting a new Political Constitution of the Republic after the approval of the 2020 Chilean national plebiscite, national plebiscite held in October 2020. Its creation and regulation were carried out through Law No. 21,200, published on 24 December 2019, which amended the Constitution of Chile, Political Constitution of the Republic to include the process of drafting a new constitution. The body met for the first time on 4 July 2021. Chilean President Sebastian Piñera said, "This Constitutional Convention must, within a period of 9 months, extendable for an additional 3 months, draft and approve a new constitution for Chile, which must be ratified by the citizens through a plebiscite." Radio Bío-Bío
Radio Bío-Bío is a Chilean radio station with broad coverage in Chile. It covers news, sports, music, economics, and international relations. The station was founded in 1966 in Concepción. In the 1990s it began to expand across the country. The first additional stations were in southern Chile in Temuco, Osorno and Puerto Montt, and Santiago in 1997. One of the main stations is operated in Lonquimay in the Cordillera of the Andes in the Araucanía Region. This station, Bío Bío Lonquimay, was established in 1995 in an isolated area and provides radio service for a mainly indigenous community. Today, Radio Bio-Bio operates on 40 frequencies around the country, with 8 autonomous stations nationwide. Chileans ( es, Chilenos) are people identified with the country of Chile, whose connection may be residential, legal, historical, ethnic, or cultural. For most Chileans, several or all of these connections exist and are collectively the source of their Chilean identity. Chile is a multilingual and multicultural society, but an overwhelming majority of Chileans have Spanish as their first language and either are Christians or have a Christian cultural background. María Ximena Ossandón Irarrázabal (born 13 December 1963) is a Chilean teacher and politician. She was a counsellor of Puente Alto from 2008 to 2012. On 21 November 2021, she was re-elected in his position of deputy. Biography Early life Daughter of Roberto Ossandón Valdés and Ximena Irarrázabal Correa, she is the sister of Manuel José Ossandón, former mayor of Pirque and Puente Alto as well as current senator. Similarly, she is mother of Bernardita Paul Ossandón, current counsellor of Puente Alto.
