Manthos Iconomou
Manthos Economou ( el, Μάνθος Οικονόμου; 1754 – 22 August 1820) was a Greek member of the Filiki Eteria, private secretary and advisor of Ali Pasha of Ioannina. He was executed by the Ottoman troops. Biographical information Εconomou was born in 1754 in Koukouli of Zagori region.Sp. P. Lambros Koutsonikas
Lambros Koutsonikas ( el, Λάμπρος Κουτσονίκας, 1799 – 2 June 1879) was a Greek general and fighter of the Greek Revolution of 1821, army officer and amateur historian of the Revolution. Biography He was the son of Yiannos, from the Souliotes, Souliot Koutsonikas clan. His grandfather Nikos, his father and his brother Thanassis were killed in 1804 in a battle against the Albanians of Ali Pasha of Yanina at the Seltsou monastery in Tzoumerka. Lambros being a child that time, together with his mother and brother, were taken captives by Ali pasha's bands. Later, Lambros fought as head of an armed unit during the Greek Revolution of 1821. During the Revolution, he served in the Greek army and was promoted to the rank of ''pentakosiarchos'' (leader of 500 men). He died in 1879 in Agrinio. Metsovo ( el, Μέτσοβο; rup, Aminciu) is a town in Epirus, in the mountains of Pindus in northern Greece, between Ioannina to the west and Meteora to the east. The largest centre of Aromanian (Vlach) life in Greece, Metsovo is a large regional hub for several small villages and settlements in the Pindus region, and it features many shops, schools, offices, services, museums, and galleries. Mahmud Dramali Pasha
Dramalı Mahmud Pasha, (Turkish: ''Dramalı Mahmut Paşa''; c. 1770 in Istanbul – 26 October 1822, in Corinth) was an Ottoman Albanian statesman and military leader, and a pasha, and served as governor (''wali'') of Larissa, Drama, and the Morea. In 1822, he was tasked with suppressing the Greek War of Independence, but was defeated at the Battle of Dervenakia and died shortly after. Early life and career Mahmud was raised and educated at the Topkapi Palace at Istanbul. He participated in various campaigns throughout the Empire, rising to the rank of vizier and acquiring significant military skills. Enjoying the patronage of the Valide Sultan, he was eventually posted in his family's home province of Drama, succeeding his father Melek Mehmed Pasha as governor.
