Mansionair
Mansionair is an Australian indie electronic trio formed in 2014. Mansionair signed with Glassnote Records and have released several singles including "Easier", "Astronaut - Something About Your Love", and "Violet City", which landed on the ''Billboard'' Rock Airplay charts. In 2017, their collaboration with Odesza and WYNNE, "Line of Sight", charted on the US Alternative Songs and Dance/Electronic Songs The Dance/Electronic Songs chart has been published weekly by ''Billboard'' since January 2013. It is the first chart to be published that ranks the most popular dance and electronic songs according to audience impressions, digital downloads, s ... charts. Odesza
Odesza (; stylized as ODESZA) is an American electronic music duo originating from Bellingham, Washington. It consists of Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight, known individually as Catacombkid and BeachesBeaches. They formed in 2012, shortly before Mills and Knight graduated from Western Washington University. Their debut album, ''Summer's Gone'', was released later in 2012 to acclaim in the underground electronic music community. After their debut extended play (EP), ''My Friends Never Die'', in 2013, they released their second album, '' In Return'', on September 9, 2014. It was the duo's debut release on Ninja Tune and its imprint, Counter Records. Glassnote Records (also known as Glassnote Entertainment Group LLC) is a record label that was launched by American music executive Daniel Glass in 2007. The label primarily has a lineup of indie rock and alternative rock artists, most notably Mumford & Sons and Phoenix. The label has also released music from popular artists in other genres, such as Chvrches, Childish Gambino and Secondhand Serenade. The label is distributed by The Orchard as of 2022. Vinyl Record
A phonograph record (also known as a gramophone record, especially in British English), or simply a record, is an analog sound storage medium in the form of a flat disc with an inscribed, modulated spiral groove. The groove usually starts near the periphery and ends near the center of the disc. At first, the discs were commonly made from shellac, with earlier records having a fine abrasive filler mixed in. Starting in the 1940s polyvinyl chloride became common, hence the name vinyl. The phonograph record was the primary medium used for music reproduction throughout the 20th century. It had co-existed with the phonograph cylinder from the late 1880s and had effectively superseded it by around 1912. Records retained the largest market share even when new formats such as the compact cassette were mass-marketed.
