Manshiet El Bakry Hospital
Mansheyet El Bakri Hospital near the Heliopolis district of Cairo, is a community hospital with a staff of 400 full and part-time doctors. After the resignation of President Hosni Mubarak on Feb. 11, 2011, workers at the hospital formed an independent trade union open to doctors, nurses, clerks and all other hospital personnel. They voted out the old hospital management and elected Dr. Milad Ismail as head administrator. Conditions at hospital Workers expressed anger over a number of issues, including the lack of police protection at the hospital and a severe shortage of supplies. Doctors had to ask patients to buy their own drugs and medical supplies at pharmacies because so little of the national health budget reached the local hospitals. Heliopolis (Cairo Suburb)
Heliopolis ( arz, مصر الجديده, ', , "New Egypt") was a suburb outside Cairo, Egypt, which has since merged with Cairo as a district of the city and is one of the more affluent areas of Cairo. Hosni Mubarak
Muhammad Hosni El Sayed Mubarak, (; 4 May 1928 – 25 February 2020) was an Egyptian politician and military officer who served as the fourth president of Egypt from 1981 to 2011. Before he entered politics, Mubarak was a career officer in the Egyptian Air Force. He served as its commander from 1972 to 1975 and rose to the rank of air chief marshal in 1973. Reese Erlich
Reese Erlich (July 5, 1947 – April 6, 2021) was an American author and freelance journalist who wrote for CBS Radio, Australian Broadcasting Corp., and National Public Radio. He also contributed to Foreign Policy and VICE News. He wrote the nationally distributed Foreign Correspondent column. Erlich won numerous journalism awards including a Peabody.
